Is the "Raptor" container any different to the older containers that came with Waring Xtremes (black handle and embossed measure lines)?

Works great. However,when blending hot food, it would pop off.

I do not know if just the lid is available. This container does come with the lid though.

My container seems to have a very loose fitting lid and when blending hot food, like soup, it would pop off which is quite dangerous. Is it faulty?

Hi., no all lids are kinda loose. But when blending hot food, take the little plastic cap off and place a towel over the opening to prevent splashing. This way nothing is gonna explode ☺

Needed a new impeller/blade assy, and it's cheaper to get the whole new container instead, with blade! Go figure, thats pretty sad for a company to force extra waste in the landfill when wear item replacement parts are that rediculously priced!
