Best TV to come out of Canada
I first saw Heartland on E4 after flicking through the channels one Sunday afternoon a couple of years ago. It is the story of teenager Amy Flemming who after losing her mother continues to help run the family ranch that helps rehabilitate troubled horses. The setting is in the stunning area of Southern Alberta Canada which is what first got my attention as I have been there. It follows the lives of the various family members and the work they do with the horses. When I watched series one it was a bit slow at first until I got to know the characters but I was soon hooked and I think most of the second series was shown and then E4 stopped showing it. The story has gone from strength to strength especially in USA and Canada. I looked it up on Amazon and was delighted to find it available to buy so I bought series three and will most definately go on to buy more. It is good clean family viewing for any age and you don't have to be a horse lover to enjoy the stories. Excellent series and good value for money. Won't be disappointed.

HORSES
Horses have always been a favourite pastime of mine, but now as I am unable to be involved with them personally, I have to watch them on TV, films or series. I have watched all six of the Heartland series and they are a delight, especially as they involve the horses so much as well as the family story. I have found the series a delight and I am hoping that Amazon will be able to get season 7 for me to buy. If you all want a soft hearted and family type series then Heartland is the one to watch!!

Great fun with its heart in the right place!
This is a wonderful series to share with my early teenage daughter ! We are both horse-mad, so the horse whisperer stuff really appeals, but the love and friendship story lines are great,too, and based on the right kind of ethics - loyalty, authenticity, and mutual understanding. Gentle humour and great landscapes, too - an all-round winner!

Can loose many hours watching these ...
I have been watching this series and love it its such easy watching there are many different story lines.Which is why im upset that the series now seems unavailable on prime video
