Yabano Belgian Waffle Maker Rotating Nonstick Double Flip Waffle Iron

This is the fourth waffle iron we have bought in the last 4 months. The previous three had no power, and the waffles came out raw and pale no matter how high you set the setting, or how long you left the waffle in the iron. This waffle iron really cooks the waffle and you actually get a nice, fully cooked waffle in about 5 minutes. There is no temperature setting, but you don't need it. Under 5 minutes will give you a lighter, more spongy waffle, and over 5 minutes will give you a darker, crispier waffle. The dual iron allows you to cook two waffles at once, and the best part was that both waffles cooked simultaneously at the same rate. After five minutes, both waffles came out identical in color and crispiness. So if you want to avoid buying four waffle irons to find the right one, don't do like we did. Buy this one the first time and you won't need to buy another one.

very light machine, makes the Belgium hospitals and you can make two at a time which makes it so easy. I would buy them as a gift for anybody.

Writing this review with my mouth full of waffle like a oversized chipmunk. Bought 2 years ago, use it almost every Sunday morning. Two words: BUY IT. Works perfect every time. Just like the commercial one you wait in line to use at the no-tell mo-tel breakfast buffet. Note: use Belgian waffle mix for best results!

My family loves waffles, and our old waffle maker was NOT cutting it. It made one waffle at a time and it took forever to get enough waffles made to feed even a small family. And then came this wonderful machine! It heats fast, and makes two waffles at a time. Now it's almost too fast to make waffles ;) by the time I flip and fill and flip again, the waffle on the other side is done. I can make a dozen waffles in about ten minutes! Downfall is, it is hard to get clean (if you are like me and overfill often)- word of advice, don't overfill! But ALL waffle makers are a pain to clean so don't let that stop you!!

Although the waffle maker works, it seems cheaply made. Also, the instruction book tells you how to make 1 waffle, but fails to include instructions for making 2 waffles!

I love this waffle iron it work so well and cooks so quickly. Being able to make two at a time sure save time when having to make breakfast quickly. I would recommend this product to any family easy to use and easy to clean, lightweight and easy to store a great buy!

This is my 3rd waffle iron/maker purchased in the last few months, and most likely my last. After having very disappointing results from the first one, decent results from the second one, and absolutely fantastic results with this one, we no longer need to look for a waffle maker anymore. The included recipe is good, but we ended up looking up a few others and are happy with all the results. If the batter is poured correctly, there is no spill at all when rotating the device. The included measuring cup is nice, but you need to add a bit more than a full cup to get a fully edged waffle. Cleanup is not difficult, wait for the machine to cool and wipe with your preferred cleaning stuff. We use a soft sponge and then rinse with the irons open over the sink with the soft-spray nozzle of our sink. Overall, one of the best waffle irons for the price range!

I was in need of a waffle maker as my old one disappeared a couple of years ago. After comparing several different models, I settled on this one. I got it for two reasons, it makes two waffles at a time, and it makes Belgian waffles. While I like traditional waffles, in Belgium they put in pearl sugar which is like biting into little explosions of sweetness, So while I bought this, I also bought some pearl sugar to go with it. Anyhow, the waffle iron heats quickly, and cooks evenly. It is up to temperature when the light goes out for each side. When you put in the batter, the light is supposed to go off, and it does, eventually, but it takes some time. With my old one, the light went off immediately. The batter is cooked when the light goes off again. My old waffle iron had a little siren that went off and I wish this one had the same. The first time I used this waffle iron, I accidentally left it on for at least an hour after stopping cooking. With the siren, that would not have happened. One thing that I would like to comment on is how clean this stays. I put in half a cup of batter for each waffle, and never has any spilled out. The manual actually doesn't say how much batter to use, so I could be putting in much less than required. However, my waffles turned out pretty good. It does come with a tray that is supposed to catch the mess waffle irons usually make. If asked, I would probably get this model again, however, I would look for something similar with an alarm first.
