Sturdy Mic Arm For A Great Price
This is an extremely sturdy and well built mic boom arm, especially for the price. My old one I believe I paid about $15 for a whole kit of stuff and while it worked fine for my old mic, a Blue Encore 300. When I upgraded to a Shure SM7db or using a JZ Amethyst, the arm wasn't nearly steady enough for a more weighty microphone. This arm I paid around double that and it is worth every penny. It doesn't bounce, moves extremely smooth, and definite commendations on the base being sturdy metal with a soft grip. I have used some of the mic arms that are in the $100+ range with other people's set ups. I definitely feel this matches the quality pretty well. The cable hiding system is a nice add on and works just fine. I am considering getting the extension tube for the end piece where the mic attaches. As the XLR cable does bend a bit for the position that I like to use it when I have the SM7db on. (just a side quirk that comes with the awesome SM7's yoke mount) Overall a great arm, would perhaps really give it 4 3/4 stars had I not gotten it on a deal which made it around 20% off. So with that in mind, 5 stars all the way around. If it holds up I will buy another next time my setup expands for sure!

Sturdy and minimalistic boomarm
So when looking for a boomarm, i was looking for something that would look nice, but also be able to support my mic without breaking the bank. This boomarm fit the bill exactly. It was very easy to assemble and you can also hide the cables along the back of both arm sections. Theres a long strip of rubber that fits into the grooves of the boomarm where you run your cable through. I also like that you don't have to worry about your cable popping out because of how secure it is. I have an mv7x, and this arm accommodates my mic without any issues at all. The clamp is also very wide, so you shouldnt have any issues clamping it down on your desk. Overall, this is a great boomarm that can make your setup look very clean. I highly recommend this boomarm to people that are going for a minimalist setup because of how well you can hide your xlr cable along the back of it.

Good strong microphone boom arm with one flaw...
The boom arm itself is fantastic, featuring effective cable management and sturdy joints for excellent stability. However, there's a notable flaw: despite the product description claiming a 4.4-pound capacity, the extension tube where the microphone attaches can only hold about 2 pounds in a horizontal or upright position. It sags under heavier microphones, forcing them to point downwards. Tightening the extension doesn't solve this issue, as it still rotates to point down. An adjustable extension length would be ideal to reduce leverage and allow heavier mics to be positioned horizontally or upright. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase, but I'll need to work around this limitation.

Switching to a new mic? No Problem.
I have had this microphone arm from 3/4 months now and been moving microphone to microphone, buying new microphones for better quality and i gotta say.. this microphone arm has held up not only the quadcast s and 2s but also the Rode PodMic! The weight of this arm isn't heavy but has the weight that is high quality, the functionality and stability of this arm is amazing! I can move my mic arm freely while having a heavy mic "the Rode Podmic" on it and will still work! The fit? Amazing it fits all kind of mics as I switch to better and better mics. Over all this is an absolute value for money and should be a definite buy, the stability on this arm is hella good. Amazing job

Beats all other mic arms
Very sturdy, not cheaply made, and looks great! Beats all the other ones that have visible springs. Stays exactly where I put it, and is very easy to move out of the way when I need to. I didnโt think this one would last me as long but I see no sign of it getting droopy or anything.

High-Quality and Easy-to-Use Microphone Boom: A Must-Have for Your Desk Setup!
I recently purchased the microphone boom, and I am impressed with its quality and construction. It is very sturdy and feels like it will last a long time. The boom was easy to attach to my desk and adjust to my height. I am pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this microphone boom to anyone needing a reliable and durable option.

Outstanding! Holds a very heavy mic!
I use a professional Akai condenser mic that is very beefy. I was worried that this like my regular mic stand boom would droop. Nope, this is rock solid and very solidly built. It stays exactly where you put it in some sort of physics magic! I also love the thought put into the hidden cable chase to keep the desktop neat.

Check the reviews, the clamp seems highly suspect
I bought it used, so the fact it was broken is but a concern for new products. That said, look at reviews. It looks like a lot of people are commenting that the clamp breaks over time. Mine arrived with the lower part of the clamp literally not in the package (note mine was used). But the clamp is the primary component necessary for it to hold and it was broken completely off. Appears to be made of cheap, relatively brittle plastic. I'd go a different route. I was trying to replace a $10 boom arm I've had for like 5 years because the springs are wearing out and it squeaks, just the clamp on that one is far superior and has a better hold.

Buy at your own discretion
It was good while it lasted , bought it on 28 november 2024 but it broke at the time of posting review. Seems like the plastic and metal at the base was weak and just snapped off, all i ever attached on the mic stand was a FIFINE AM8.
