Scot Young L570 Swing Top Bin, 50 L Capacity, White

As a previous reviewer said, it's hard to find WHITE bins. I guess that's because manufacturers know white plastic tends to yellow with time. ANYway, this is just right, decent quality for the price, blends in standing beside the white fridge, and holds way more than you expect it to for its compact size. The top swings easily and you can put things in from both sides. Delivery was spot on, two days I think. The only TINY niggle I have is that you can't completely tuck away the top of the bin liner under the lip of the top piece, but I won't be losing any sleep over that.

I bought this bin because it was the tallest on offer, and I wanted white which once again manufacturers appear reluctant to supply. The swing top works fine but the overall quality of the bin is very poor for the price. It's lightweight (excellent for paper recycling) but I purchased it for kitchen waste and find it a bit fragile for constant use.

Very good bin

Just as described, and just as required to fit the space. Couldn't find a bin to fit in the shops and my elderly Mum is delighted.

The last kitchen bin I had was bought by my husband who thought it would do for my newly designed, pristine white kitchen. I was horrified since the bin was CREAM. I had to wait for four years before the thing broke and I could buy another. DH being the 'If it aint broke, don't fix it' sort.Searching in every shop locally and on line, this was the only white swing bin I could find larger than eighteen inches high (44.5 cm). I am delighted to say that it more than satisfies my needs. The swing top is on a central pivot so you can drop items in from both sides of the lid.It has a 50 litres capacity which brings it to a useful size for all my non-compostable, non-recyclable rubbish.Standing about 28 inches (71 cm) high it takes standard swing bin liners. It is easy to clean and looks attractive in my kitchen.I am very happy with this bin and with the speady delivery.'Nisbet's next day catering equipment' came through as expected - my bin was delivered the next day.I am just left wondering why the usual manufacturers of kitchen bins don't do one in white. The nearest I could find was 'Linnen' which after all is said and done, is a sort of CREAM!!

Fine for price

Fast delivery - and the item was just what I needed. I searched the High Street for tall 50litre bin - but was unable to find this shape anywhere - other than Amazon ! Well done,

The Bin arrvied quickly. There was practically no packaging apart from the plastic and sellotape but I didn't mind. It just means less cost to deliver compared to another seller on Amazon who would probably have included a box.I have found it incredibly useful for dry waste and packaging.The only inconsistency is that the bin itself does not have the feet on it as it does in the picture. But that's not an issue for me.Smiles all round at my house. :)
