Finally one the really do the job.
I bought this holder in 2022 and still work great, this is the best holder ever. It's the only one I ever found that sticks securely on my dashboard. The design lets it hold extra large units like my Garmin with no problem. The ones I tried to stick to the windshield don't last long. I'm so glad I found this holder. I will order another one soon for the second car.

Amazing in every way. Ultimate design!
This is the best holder ever hands down. It's the only one I ever found that sticks securely on my dashboard which is not perfectly flat. The design lets it hold extra large units like my Garmin with no problem. All of the holders I've seen with the spring tension clamps on each side only seem to hold a cell phone. The ones I tried to stick to the windshield don't last long. I'm in south Florida so it's 90+ in the summer. I bought this same holder in Dec 2019 and just now replacing after 4 1/2 years (finally came loose from the intense heat). I'm so glad I can still get another :-)

Will not fit Garmins that have power attachment on Top or Bottom.
Unfortunately it did not fit my model of Garmin. It looks like a well built stand although I had problems with the tape not sticking to my dash.

Works well, but you need to let the glue cure for 2 days!
It is working perfectly. When you first install it, you would not think the glue would take but it does when you let it cure for 2 days.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Needed to get a new Garmin. My old one...about 25 years old....just stopped working correctly. But I didn't like the way it was suppose to sit on my dash. So checked out all other holders and thought I'd give this one a try. It is perfect. Holds firmly and is easy to move for viewing.

Magellan Road Mate 1440
Magellan Road Mate 1440 doesn't seat securely because of power cord connection , However it can be wedged against front bottom lip of case ( REDNECK ENGINEERING) does seem to be fairly secure .Time will tell !
