Do these hooks eventually rust, and if yes at what length of time owning them? THX

Hi... I have used them on shower curtain for past several months and have no rusting whatsoever. You might also want to consider your water type and rod type ... I have a soft-water conditioning system for all interior faucets (Culligan) and use a PVC rod. I'd imagine it would all factor into the chemistry of rusting... Good luck!
