Works well
I used some of this for my single glazed bay window on a busy road. It looks ok, not as good as a system with hidden fixings but it does not look out of place. The edging is quite soft which helps to seal the edges if your window frames are not perfectly flat. I used this with 4mm glass which is quite heavy and the supplied fixings had no problems holding up the extra weight. The noise from the road was reduced substantially and the condensation problems I had been having disappeared after installing. Quick and easy to install and it is quick to remove the glazing when needed. If you are thinking of buying this then it would be worth pricing up the plastic/glass before deciding which size kit to buy. 4mm Acrylic sheet is overly expensive IMO. Glass can be cheaper but it is very heavy and more likely to break if you are not careful. 2mm sheets of either is significantly cheaper and since the air gap does most of the insulating it isn't much different performance-wise.

Great product!
Brilliant product, easy to use & have successfully replaced the previous white-coloured edging that had become brown being over 30 years old. It has given a new lease of life to my DIY double glazing!

Does the job with plenty to spare
Although usually used for internal secondary glazing, I used this to fix a sheet of 3mm polycarbonate externally, in order to protect a stained glass window. It was easy to use and the window now looks much neater. Tightening the screws seems to seal the unit tightly, so sound transmission through the window is considerably reduced too. Thanks

Excellent!
I used this along with some 4mm Acrylic sheets as we have old Sash windows and this has reduced the noise poluttion from the road it's great! and were saving money on our heating bills.
