There's is nothing like being able to see in dark areas and remain hands-free with this light (we use them in closets, attics, garages, work sites, while performing vehicle repairs, camping, fishing, and more). These lights easily clip onto hat brims, tilt to allow you to not shine light in someone's eyes when facing them at night, and they provide plenty of light. We bought these specifically for the ability to night fish because of the UV light (it enables UV fishing line to illuminate at night so you can see if fish are biting your line). The battery holds up well as we enjoy fishing in tournaments and they last all night. We found so many uses for these that we ordered several of them and now even give them as gifts to friends for household and emergency uses. They are easy to charge and are lightweight so they don't give you a headache from the weight they add to your hat brim. Keep some in your car for night time emergencies or breakdowns, and add them to your camping gear and homes as essential tools!

In the fall and winter when it gets dark so early, I use this light clipped to my hat so I have light in some of the darker areas of my walk. It’s small and light weight. It recharges easily and seems to last several hours before needing recharging. I walk for an hour at a time and can usually go several days before needing to charge. I’m glad I got this little light. It has 4 settings. Bright light, lower brightness, blue light and blinking white light. I just use the bright light my entire walk.

I got this light for working at my job, where I spend a lot of time working in the dark above office ceilings. I wanted something that would clip on my hat brim, as I don't really care for wearing the headbands. While I have a great magnetic Nebo Slyde flashlight, sometimes it's to big and bulky for what the work entails.It's pretty bright, though it doesn't project all that far distance wise, it can definitely light up a dark room or the ground outside in front of you, it's best for working on stuff that's pretty close to you.I have noticed like others that the light does get noticably dim after a bit, and the UV light won't even work at that point. If it's an actual LiPo battery, it's not a good sign for the output voltage to drop that much. It can actually damage the battery if there's not a safety cutoff circuit to prevent draining the battery too much.It's a decent priced light when it's on sale, but I don't really think it's worth full price.

I'm an HVAC Professional and am regularly crawling through attics or working at night and need my hands free to work or climb. The headband is perfect for when I've done my hair that day look presentable. If I didn't have time that day or shoot, maybe I'm hungover and only have time to slap a hat on my head and call it good, well, that hat clip feature works fantastic. The blacklight is extremely useful for the coil leaks that are too small to find with a leak detector or bubbles. I can add a UV dye to the system and find it no problem with this light. Really, this light is absolutely perfect for what I need it for.There's a damn good reason I've bought seven of them now. My kids love them too. Pricing is fantastic too. I'm sure I'll end up buying 10 more of these things. I've got a bad habit of losing them in attics or setting them down in a customer's house.

I do really like this light. I have a heavier head light that has a battery pack on the strap that is WAY brighter than this one, but this one gives me enough light to walk around at night or light up door locks, read something, etc. Mine came with a very adequate head strap, but since I almost always wear a billed cap, I prefer to just clip it on. The clip grips very well so it won't slip off too easy. The way it's hinged, it works better clipped ON TOP of the bill for walking. If I clip under the bill like the picture, for me at least, it's pointing down too much. The design makes it very adaptable though. I REALLY like the way it is chargeable with any USB connection, so I don't have another little charger to keep track of. On BRIGHT it lights up the ground very well for walking. I can see across the yard OK, But I don't think it would be very safe at night on a bicycle unless you just want to let folks know you're there. BRIGHT is fine for reading or working on something. On DIM the battery lasts MUCH longer, but it won't be much good for very many things. The ultra violet position will show up pet pee on a carpet in a darkened room, or a scorpion AT NIGHT, but it's really not very bright. What do you use the strobe for? (but it's there) All in all, I really like this light weight, well made, very handy little light. If something ever happens to it, I want another just like it. The only reason I didn't give it the full 5 stars is that the switch button on mine, at least, doesn't change from red to green when charging is complete (like the description). It just goes out. And it doesn't glow in the dark.UPDATE SAME DAY: I just charged it with my smart charger instead of a power brick & the green light DOES come on. ALSO, after placing it under a light for a bit, the switch DOES glow in the dark. So I'm adding a star!

Picked this up on sale and it is a great cap light (comes with strap to be able to wear without a hat too) and throws a bright light while being rechargeable. The UV function is useful for recharging glow in the dark stickers and decals.

Bright light. Hard hat clip is perfect. Charges fast. Great for the price compared to expensive ones.

Not very bright in dim lighting. Just hundred lumens. But good in the dark.

It's a really must have product... At night, if you are out near a busy road, it will let coming vehicles know that somebody is crossing. So it is not just handy for traversing in dark or camping, it's handy on a lot of levels
