Horrible instructions and bad quality
This kit does not have any instructions to assemble the parts. Plus the parts do not fit correctly. It says it comes with sandpaper but there was none to found. The instruction is a piece of paper with a diagram of the ship with numbers next to it. You are supposed to match the numbers to the pieces to make it fit.This is not for kids or adults who want to spend all day making it. This is going into the garbage where it belongs

Try something else
This is terrible. I've done a lot of the wooden puzzles and this one definitely missed the mark. The quality is terrible. It splintered and peeled. The sailors are glossy paper. The instructions left A LOT to be desired. I got it together but it was more frustrating than fun.

Poor Construction Quality
Every fun moment I had with this model was countered with a moment of frustration. The engineering is very poor as many of the parts are poorly designed to fit together. Many of the pieces that should be the same vary wildly in size and shape.Some of these were minor, but other issues with the fit of the pieces were critical, making the assembly a far greater challenge than it should have been.

Directions were very poor. No explanation on how to match pieces to assemble to final product. Other items I have purchased that were to be assembled at least had more explicit directions. I would not buy this again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Directions impossible to read; pieces were missing
I gave this to my grandson for Christmas. Pieces were missing, and it was not possible to read the directions. His parents were helping him, and they couldn’t build it. Don’t waste your money on this.

Feel accomplished IF you can finish this.
This is a well built model and I found the pieces easy to assemble and stay together without glue. However, be aware that there are no LEGO-like instructions and it takes some work to figure out the assembly. I think this does make it more rewarding when assembled, but definitely not for kids. No sandpaper cane with the model and no instructions for the ropes and sails.

Stinks!
Do not buy this! No instructions. Parts don’t fit together good. Once you open it and try it you can’t return it. Just save your money and find something else. This is garbage. Waste of money.

Nice finished project, took a while to put together
This product was a little difficult to put together. The instructions were not easy to read. We looked up videos on YouTube for help on putting it together. It looks nice once it is put together. Try not to break any pieces though.
