Didn't say anywhere that it wasn't compatible with the Pixel 2. I even asked a question as to whether it was compatible with the Pixel 2, before purchasing, and had one response that said "No idea. For the price its worth a shot." Guess most of Amazon's customers can afford to just throw away time and money. Back to searching for a reasonable replacement for the original.

Does not work with Pixel 2. Please be for explicit in the Title and Description for this product. Had to return.

Could not get to work on my Google Pixel phone.

To cut to the chase, here's the problem with these adapters: they don't work. I have a Pixel 2 and the adapter that came with the phone work fine. However I needed at least another one so I could leave one on my car. I tried all three and not one of them worked. Music continued to stream from the phone no matter what I did. Switching them out with the OEM adapter, ithe OEM adapter worked perfectly with the same setup I used with these. I've since lost one so I can't return them to Amazon for a refund. Try another brand and skip these.If you found one cheaper than Google's, let me know. If I can't find a knockoff that works, I will have to pony up more for Google's.

I misplaced the dongle/adapter that came with my google pixel 2. I was hoping this product would work but did not.

They did not live up to my expectations I bought them for use of my headphones and the phone keeps telling me there an analog device. I bought cheap and you know what they say, "you get what you pay for", hopefully someday I'll find a use for them
