I feel that the neck portion is very effective, whereas the lower back portion doesn't seem to do anything for me. After a week of use, I could feel how the curve in my neck was changing for the better, from the incorrect curved position. But, it seems that it's not too permanent, meaning, if you stop using it, you'll loose the results. Maybe after long term use, this will not be the case.

I normally don't write reviews only after a few days so I promise to follow up with updates. There are a million reasons for headaches and I've been fighting chronic headaches for about a year. This unit relieves pressure at the base of my neck, stopping a tension headache from coming on - successfully avoided two headaches already. I was seeing a chiropractor for 9 weeks (twice a week) and that helped reduce headaches from 5-6 times a week down to 2-3. (stopped seeing mainly due to insurance not covering chiropractic visits so it was all out of pocket) At the chiropractic visits, I used a device much like this one. Further, the chiropractor had me use electric stimulation, tens device, and the Dakota Traction therapy. The Dakota I use twice a day - now for over 4 months, but that doesn't help relieve a headache when I feel tension starting. After a year of seeing a lot of doctors and such, my tension headaches are more due to forward head posture. I've been diagnosed with TMJ, but several dentists say my bite is good, and only v. slightly off. I've paid and use the night guards but that didn't help. I've stretched a lot (physical therapy), watched a lot of youtube video's on posture, TMJ, stretching, and still get these headaches. There are no magic cures, but so far this device has been great. The hand pumps allow far greater control vice having an automatic electronic model. The pumps can inflate to where they are as hard as a rock, but can't over fill them. I found the velcro, padding, and build to be of good quality. This isn't cheap, but nothing compared to what I've spent in the last year to find relief. I'll provide an update in early January.

This came without it's own box and was only shrink-wrapped. The neck and lower back parts are connected by a cheap faux leather pad. Separately the two cost about $150 each but together $350 and the only additional part is this pad. Clearly not worth the extra $$ just for this pad. The neck and lower back units are made of medium grade blue plastic and the pump is like a typical cheap blood pressure pump. They are still over-priced even at $150 each.I tried using this as per instructions. It was impossible to do the recommended rocking motions for the back without moving the neck at the same time. I ended up separating them. (Another reason not to buy them together.) I may have gotten some improvement in my symptoms with use of the low back unit but the neck unit did not help at all. It might have made it worse actually. I only used it for 2 weeks.I returned the item due to these reasons.

I thought I was going to have to have surgery on my neck it had gotten into such bad shape. I have had the Posture Pump for over a month now and it has CHANGED MY LIFE!!! My initial reason for purchase was for my neck, but I also have a problem with my lower back. I was going to the chiropractor 3 times a week (and had been for 3 years) and was never able to make it to being a "maintenance patient." Now I go just once a week and I am still improving. I keep up with my physical therapy and have even noticed that I have more of a proper curve to my back. One exercise is to push my lower back to the table and hold that for 15 seconds....now I have to push it much further because there is an actual curve there! My neck is still a work in progress, but I'm even getting better adjustments on my neck since using the posture pump. Going from 3 chiropractor visits a week down to just one has saved me a fortune! I wish I had known about the posture pump years ago.

this product simply wasn't for my Sister. I thought so. However, with an already stressed spine. this machine did not work for her

Well, I haven't had a follow-up xray, but I can tell you how good this thing feels. I had an xray prior to getting this product revealing my spine (near the base of my neck) is straight, and not curved as it used to be. I had an injury about 10 years ago that has forced me to have headaches...neck cracking, etc. I tried a chiro ONE time, and never again. I know why people like them, and it's because they crack you and it feels good. But the problem is, you have to keep going to them, and cracking and "Manipulating" doesn't address what the real problem is. This thing does. I already noticed after 3 weeks of usage that I don't have the headaches I used to have, nor have I needed to crack my neck as often. I highly reccomend this product for people with neck injuries as it seems to "retrain" your neck and neck muscles to allow the curve to be put back. I also noticed my posture is better. Good luck!

I did not like the posture pump. It is so complicated to use and it seems it only works on a hard surface which is worse for my back and my wife has MS and has a rough time getting down on the floor to use it. I sent it back.

Our chiropractor suggested this product for me and my husband. Now that we have it, I am absolutely clear on WHY he suggested it. My back often hurts first thing in the morning and I have neck stiffness which seems to linked to my migraines. We have used it faithfully every day and we are both feeling so much relief. My morning back discomfort is gone. Note: you have to manually pump the neck and back mechanisms. Although pumping is super easy and no problem, we didn't know that there is an electronic model until I read the instructions brochure which has a list of all their models. My suggestion: buy this BEFORE you have back or neck problems to maintain a healthy spine. If you currently have back and neck problems...get this to possibly find some relief and not get any worse than you are now.
