Premium Dog Grooming Scissors (Red)

well just used these for the first time today, Took my 9 month old yorkie girl for a haircut at groomers for the first time. She would not let them touch her they got a little of her ears done, so I basically had to finish them. she just sat there and let me work on them, the thinning shears worked excellent and the small round tipped ones are the two I used. Love them and love her for letting me finish them up lol. They are a great set of scissors and they come in such a nice case. I would recommend them to everyone that needs a good set!!!!

This kit is great. The 3 scissors and comb are perfect for grooming my Havachon Charlie. The small scissors with the protected tips is awesome for around the eyes, nose, mouth, and private’s. No fear of Charlie jerking and me accidentally cutting him. They could be a bit sharper but for the cost for home grooming use, you really can’t go wrong.

This set of grooming scissors is a great starter set. You can do a ton of work with this set and not really need anything else. The case has a holder for each pair scissors. Each scissors are right handed. And have plastic inserts in the hole for your fingers. You get a pair of scissors with blunt ends, another pair that are thinning scissors, the last pair is longer and curved. Also the comb is a would and has a round spine, which feels better in your hand.

The quality of the shears seems to be good. Time will tell, of course. The ends of the comb are not rounded completely, which leaves the ends sharp! They quickly found their way to the recycle bin. The case is very cheap and impossible to get the shears back in. I'd honestly look for another set if I were you.

I was super excited based on previous reviews to have finally found a decent grooming kit for my Havanese. Havanese have 2 layers of fur and good thinning shears are a must have. Cost can be a deterrent for owners unless you are a professional groomer. Well, the thinning shears in this kit do not comfortably (for my puppy) and cleanly cut through the underlayer of fur where mats can be an issue in cold weather even with daily grooming due to the wearing of coats and sweaters which are a must for Havanese. The breed tends to get cold easily...don’t let the fur fool you. As for the other scissors in the kit? Thankfully I can sharpen them due to the straight edge. Toothed thinners require professional sharpening and these aren’t worth the effort or price of sharpening. It’s likely they will be damaged if sharpening is even attempted.

Worth it for the money. I only really used the comb and rounded tip scissors and the cut was precise enough for the cost. I was able to give a second rate cut on the first attempt (lol). Seriously the Gap and cut is definitely worth it, even though my male fingers were a little big for the opening. So the takeaway is.... Fingers with above average thickness seek other scissors, otherwise great female scissors.

Grooming dogs

Love the little case this comes in. Comfortable to use and works as expected. I was using a normal scissors to groom my dogs but am always nervous about poking them. The rounded edge for clipping around the eyes is so much safer. The angled scissors is great too. I’ve been grooming my dogs myself since the pandemic first started and this has made it much easier. The little orange things fell out but no big deal...they just make the scissors look nice but they aren’t needed for functionality.

These were nice and sharp and comfortable to use. They came in a nice case as well. I would buy these again. They are working very well for trimming my cockapoo (who has curly, but very fine flyaway hair.)

Good set of scissors with its own case. Easy to use and maneuver around our dog's body. Decent quality. Would recommend getting an extra long straight scissors.

Scissors are nice and sharp and tight. Works well, came quickly. Like the blunted tip for trimming around dog's eyes.
