An afternoon full of educational fun!
It can be hard to come up with something fun for when my niece and nephews come to visit. They range in age from 7-12, and I’m always looking for something they all can do. This stuff was perfect! We spent the afternoon outside picking flowers, and then followed the simple instructions to make a pretty present for their mom. The kids were super excited to give a present, and they all enjoyed their afternoon with me.

Great paper!
Paper turned out great! My five year old and I used odds and ends to make robots. We put the blue plastic (they provide) down on a large book and then put the sun paper on top of that. From there we built the robots on top of the sun paper while sitting in our basement (under standard lamp light). We then just walked it out into the sun! It was a very sunny day and the paper turns from blue to white in less than one minute. The only thing I wish the instructions made more clear was that you can’t just “rinse them” as it instructs — following a YouTube tutorial we looked up — we filled a container with water and let them sit in the water fully submerged. You will see the paper THEN begin to turn from a light blue to a darker blue over time. Once out they darkened up further. We truly let them soak (fully submerged) in the water for 10+ mins and got the beautiful, dark blue result you see in the picture. Great product - will certainly buy again!

Fun fall project.
Works well and helps teach the concept behind photosynthesis. The picture did fade to a more muted blue when rinsed. May suggest doing two similar pictures to see if the product truly needs rinsing to be a success. All in all a fun way to inspire greater distance hiking with kids or just fun fall projects with all the wonderful leaves sure to come.

Fun to do this with kids!
Great outdoor activity, especially for kids. It’s fun to try different natural elements to create different shadows/imprints. Also experimenting with exposure time and running time to teach your child about how these changes can change the image. Science! Did this with a 2 year old who was a bit young to appreciate it, but could help gather items to print. Looking forward to doing more as he gets older. Beautiful prints

Good for Kids, But Don't Buy if You Want to Make Good Art
I have done cyanotypes before, and I used a more expensive brand. I had a couple of interesting specimens and did not want to spend $20 just to do one sheet. I found this Sun Art Paper, $7 for 15 sheet seemed like a good deal. The paper is extremely thin and cheap, printer paper is thicker. The prints are not super strong compared to higher end, they just don't come out as well. So I was very disappointed. *But* if you are getting this for kids to show them something cool, or you trying this for the first time and want to experiment without committing, this is a good deal. Especially cause it comes with a clear sheet you can use to flatten out your work. Also especially good for a younger crowd, cause this paper only takes 1 to 5 minutes (one minute if the sun is right on the paper) as opposed to 15-20 minutes on higher end paper
