Fun project
Super fun project for a beginner. Has everything you need and pretty good instructions, and the maker has helpful videos available online.

Makes a nice wall hanging for stickers.
The stitching instructions are not the best, I know the basic stitches but I still couldn’t follow the instructions. However all most if not all these stitches have how to videos on YouTube. The good thing about this kit is it includes everything you need to do this project. And it will make a nice wall hanging. It’s nice but maybe not best for beginners.

Solid kit
First, this kit comes with a wooden hoop. I have several of these types of kits, none of them have come with a wooden hoop yet. It's a decent quality hoop too, it's thick, easy to adjust, and holds the fabric in place. The fabric for the pattern is a nice thick piece, with a decent weight to it. The images are printed clearly on the fabric as well, not blurry like some others I've gotten. Included is the floss, and there appears to be plenty (I haven't finished, but so far each color I have finished has had some left over, plenty for me to make mistakes and need to rip it out). The instructions are a booklet that is clearly printed, has nice pictures showing you the steps, and is easy enough to follow along with, I do wish some of the pics were a bit bigger though. Also included is a tube of needles, folding scissors, needle threader, and a seam ripper. All are decent enough in terms of quality. So far so good, it has been easy enough to follow along with and I've only had to search out one stitch, but it was a doozy once I finally figured it out.

This could be great but horrible instructions!
I love the old-fashioned samplers of embroidery. I have never tried anything other than cross stitching kits, but I saw this large beginning embroidery kit and thought to try it. I am dealing with severe depression and I find that handiwork helps sooth my moods. The pros: I love the size of this sampler. I plan to frame it when completed. The kit is very complete with a wooden hoop! The cons: The instructions are so bad as to be unusable. Luckily, there is YouTube! I have found wonderful instructors online. There is a booklet that comes with the kit, but it is hard to read and scanty information and very poorly written English. There are some online instructions from the maker of the kit (Bonroy) on the Amazon listing and YouTube, but they only have completed less than half of the stitch instructions online.I would still recommend this kit but just be aware of the instruction problem. You can complete this sampler but mostly by using other instructions on YouTube. If they rework the instruction booklet and add more complete online videos for the stitches, this would be a winner.

Awesome stitch practice kit!!
The step-by-step stitch guide is excellent quality! The cover and pages are thick. I really love that the left hand pages have the names and pictures of the stitches, as well as the strand count for each stitch and the right hand pages have photo tutorials, written instructions on how to do the stitches, and uses for the stitches. The embroidery cloth is thick and well made; the embroidery floss is soft to the touch and feels very durable; the hoop is just a basic hoop; the other accessories are cheap and low quality: the scissors are dull and I feel as if they will fray the floss when cutting it. The needle threader looks and feels cheap. The thin wire feels as if it will fall out after a handful of uses. The kit does come with extra wire (included with the needles). The needles feel a little soft and bendable. The little container containing the needles and wire is thick, durable, and the lid stays in place so there is no chance of it accidentally coming off. The seam ripper is the same as any that comes in sewing kits. I would recommend getting a better pair of scissors or snippers.I do cross stitching and used to embroider as a child, but I never learned all of these stitches. I am very eager to use this!

Nice Sampler
I have bunches of embroidery books with either designs or a large books of embroidery stitches. I also have plenty of embroidery supplies such as fabric, floss, hoops, etc. so technically the last thing I need to get is an embroidery stitch sampler. I started embroidery way back in elementary school. In all this time, there are many stitches I have never tried. Rather that try out stitches on a spare piece of fabric, I thought it would be nice to be able to try them out on a sampler that is already set up and eventually hang it on the wall. The printing on the fabric looked good, I have seen some kits with misspellings, fabric reeking like diesel fuel, the printing that you are supposed to embroider being fatter than 6 strands of embroidery floss so the embroidery would look bad and other odd things. So, I am happy to say that this set is very nice. I look forward to using it when trying out new stitches.I appreciate the opportunity to try this sampler out. Thank you.

Don't expect a lot of quality in this package
Needle threader broke apart on first use. I have used several needle threaders, and this one is just very, very cheaply made.Scissors are also cheap.I'm not expecting super high quality, but breaking on first use is crappy.
