I have a 2012 Chevy Silverado, works just fine, don’t have any problems with it. Plus and does its thing. One thing I recommend is clearing the codes before plugging in. And unhook the battery and hooking it back up before plugging it in.

It works perfectly just be careful not to accidentally hit it.
I plugged this thing in and drove for five hours to Tennessee . It worked perfectly V8 all the way. The only problem I had and absolutely scarred me to death was I upon getting out of my Tahoe I somehow kicked the little box. Next morning I went to drive it and the check engine light came on. Took it to Autozone the guy scanned it and said your computer is fried. Started back and the dash was saying all kinds of things “check power steering” “ 4wheel drive”. I was freaking out. I called my son that had drove down told him to bring some tools. We unhooked the negative side of the battery for 20 minutes and everything was fine from there. I can only imagine when I accidentally kicked the little box it screwed with the computer. It’s back plugged in and working fine. I am going to secure it in maybe with a zip tie or something and put a piece of electrical tape over the lights that are on it.

No Longevity
I bought this back in March of 2025 so coming up on a year, I don't like to give reviews too soon on products and this is why. This thing has started to glitch out on me. I noticed a week or so ago that my V4 function was coming on and I looked at the LEDs on the module and there were only two lit, there are supposed to be all four. I unplugged it and turned the truck back on and it worked for about a week and started acting up again. I can't return it so I am going to buy a better more expensive one in hopes that it has better longevity. I bought this to stop the cylinder switching which has ruined the engine on my Silverado twice now. The fact that I have to buy one of these things to keep my truck from destroying itself is a whole other subject. Spend the extra money get a better module...

Not always connected
It does work, keeps my 2014 chevy silverado in V8 mode. Side note: after a year of use it sometimes won't sync up with computer and will go into V4 mode. I have to toggle it around with key ignition on before starting to see the blue lights activating the programming. Thinking the metal contacts might be getting dirty

Works well
Installed it in my truck.I'm on a chevy, colorado 2020 model, it drives and shifts so much better. And I was getting my 24 miles to a gallon. Now it's reading 25, I've had it in for about 4 days, and I can tell a big improvement on how it shifts. And drives really love it. Real easy to install, just plugged it in and started driving

Worked awesome on a 07 suburban z71
Works like a dream Plugged it in, drove around and all v8 all the time. It even took away the code for low oil pressure. Gas mileage went up even considering I added bigger rims and tires. Would definitely recommend.
