Micro Chargers Time Track

Microchargers looks good out of the box, with a good quality finish to the track. It's easy to put together and, as long as you have the not-included batteries, can be set up quickly. Takes about 10 minutes to assemble the standard track configuration.For the first few tries, it's a very cool toy. The teeny-tiny cars charge up and then whiz around the track, seemingly racing each other. Two cars are included and it's pretty fun to have four (the max the charger can hold at one time). Once charged, the cars will do 10 or more circuits at an impressive speed and they do overtake each other. The initial look and feel is quite exciting and fun.I say 'initial' though because that's all the toy does. You charge the cars, they whiz around the track, and that's it. You have no control over the cars and although there's a built in finishing gate, it's entirely random which car may 'win' a race. After a few goes, it becomes pretty same-ish. There's mini-data cards included for each car that suggest each has different specs, but I'm doubtful it's true. We tried charging different cars for different amounts of time, but the 'winning' car seemed to be random.Also, the cars are incredibly fragile. The instructions make it clear that you shouldn't use them on any other surface, but the wheels and axles need to be kept entirely free of dust, hairs and lint to work properly, same goes with the track.For what you get and the limited repeat playing potential of the toy, I'd say it is overpriced. Also look after those cars carefully or you'll be spending more to replace them if you child likes the toy.

Track is great but cars are rubbish. They just don't charge. Bought for my son's birthday and he was so disappointed the cars doesn't go.

Initial reaction from my 7 yr old and myself was disappointment - the cars are tiny! Yes once it was set up my son had great fun with it. Far too expensive though.

The timed switch track wasn't working. Fortunately for me it was a simple mechanical misalignment. Overall, it is an enjoyable race track for the children.

It doesnot charge the cars, and the seller have not replied to my messages about it! Waste of money!

Within a few hours this item wouldn't work. Tried new batteries and it still wouldn't work. A very disappointed child had this as a birthday present. What a load of rubbish it was.
