My wife was complaining about having small bumps/hives every time she came out of the shower, which made her think she was allergic to chemicals in our water (we filter all our drinking water). But she hasn’t had a single one since getting these installed. My skin feels softer too & I love the different settings.The threading is tricky (plastic), so be super careful; it’ll cross thread if you don’t have it perfectly lined up. We used plumbers tape too & bought the bronze model.

I'm very impressed. The construction is a good quality, pre-assembled and easy to install. I expected any in-line filter to restrict the water pressure but it's actually just as much (if not more) water flow than our previous shower head. I like the shower head options. I have not tested the water quality yet, but I do notice our water doesn't smell anymore. I saw others comment that it makes their skin dry out, I have not had this problem at all. I'm not sure if it makes any difference, but I don't have a water softener in my house. I'll be buying more of these for our other showers.

This shower head actually seemed to increase water pressure even when in the normal (not massage mode) setting. Poss. due to design?? AND with less splash and stray spray all around. So good I actually stay in the shower a few mins. longer just to feel the wonderful fullness of the stream on my shoulders and neck. We liked it so much I ordered a second! Only negative I can find is that it seems to leak ever so slightly at the seam, (just a slight drip). However I have not gone back to QC the installation (my step-son installed it) to see if it is tight enough. With the filter hopefully we will have less water stains on our beautiful marble to clean. I have rated the softness neutral because we have not had it long enough to really determine. The antique bronze matches our other home hardware perfectly.

I've bought these several times and have always been pleased. They remove fluoride and many other shower filters do not. I bought this for the mere fact that it removed fluoride.

We already have a passive water softener and would sometime see water stains in the shower. We have been using the product about two months and have not noticed any water stains in the shower.
