In reply to chucks response. This should not come off on wood as it does not contain silicone or oil based. This is teflon and I have never used this brand, but I have useed teflon on saw blades and table saw tables in the past with zero issue. It just has to dry good. I think it would work perfect for your need. Also a good cheap lube you might have already is vaseline. It works great on the little rollers for shower curtains or around the seal of a fridge.

can this be used on the felt window tracks for the drivers and passenger sides of vehicles

Basically, what this is is a Teflon spray that dries quickly to a dry powder. I don't know if that would help your felt or not. I guess you could try it in a small area and see what happens. If the felt is dried out, and that's the problem, I don't think it will bring the felt back to it's original condition, because this dries out so quickly.

Will this work on firearms?
