Great content - came without jacket
This is a beautiful little book on Symbolist art, and I love the essays and prints. It did arrive without any book jacket, so the white cover will likely become dirty with time.

Poor content
I thought I was buying Michael Gibson's "Symbolism" book and I bought this. It was my mistake, but it's rather misleading as the cover painting is similar to Gibson's book. Disappointing, not what I expected.

What book?
This "book" arrived with a dust jacket and several sheets of white paper inside. That's it. Quality control maybe???

Good introduction
Most floral symbolism is explained in this book. Much missing, but this subject is very broad for the era covered. Lovely introduction, with a beautiful use of PRB pieces.
