Both the family and the club prove to be fruitful ingredients for an entertaining evening cocktail, what with the stories of soccer, love, and humor. "Arnhem is not for Ajax, son," explains Hans who is in his late nineties. "Although I have been infected, you will heal!" This story will take you through a family's journey- starting when Hans, a soccer dad, took his son Remco to the kindervak in the former Vitesse Stadium called Monnikenhuize back in the early nineties. Later on, they were joined by Remco's little brother Tomas when Vitesse moved to the new stadium called GelreDome. As a threesome, they immersed themselves in the good times and the bad times of the Vitesse soccer club.
