 In spite of many of the negative reviews, I am quite pleased with this dash cam. In fact, I am buying a second one for my wife's car.Positives:In spite of what others have said, I found the controls to be quite intuitive. You can set the camera to continuous record or record in video clips 1, 3 or 5 minutes long. I chose 5 minute increments so that if I have to go back and review video I don't have to skim through a 24 hour loop of video. As soon as it finishes a 5 minute clip it instantly starts a new 5 minute clip with no gap in between.The resolution is not top shelf, but for a $16 camera I would say it is quite acceptable. If you expect to get a hi-def, hi-resolution dash cam then I suggest you stop shopping for cameras under $20 and accept that you will have to spend considerably more.The suction mount works just fine on mine. I stuck it to the window of my truck and left it there for weeks in the sun and heat and it never came off. If you are having trouble getting it to stay on your window, I suggest you try cleaning the window first.Negatives:My only negative is that the night vision doesn't work very well. Again, for a $16 camera, you get what you pay for. If you want hi-res night vision, stop looking at $16 cameras.Summary: If you want a camera to provide evidence from an accident, this will do the job. It shows good detail and is not glitchy or pixelated at all. The video clip I have added was taken on two different sections of road at around 8:30 PM (ignore the time stamp). The first section of road is a very woodsy, dimly lit area and the second section is on a sunny hillside.

Purchased two of these. This is not a wide angle view camera, and the charger did not work half of the time. Had to return them. Would not recommend.

Did not have the 170 degrees mentioned, is not a wide lens angle dash cam

terrible when I plugged it in the screen is broken . the glass isnt shatteted but the image is.

I actually bought 4 of those units, for all me and my brother cars. 3 of them do not work. I have since tried to use each of them with different brand, different make SD cards, format them outside via USB, inside via this dash cam. Everytime it formats, but does not record for whatever reason. Even if i can see recorded files in the USB, they are always corrupt and can never be opened. I actually spent more money on diff SD cards to rule out issue with SD card. Just does not work, though it keeps recording.Wish it recorded and it would have got 5 starts. only since it does not record its a waste of money for me. I wish i had tried one and then bought one more at a time.

For the Money, Its okay, what you see is what you get. No additional cord for A/V use or USB cord for in house charging (not that you need to) but it would've been nice to have additional accessories. Works fine, not sure about that "wide angle", not getting that. But again for the money, its adequate. I would buy one for my 2nd vehicle . Does appear to be a used unit, Not New!!!

The hot sun got to my other dashcam and caused it to sort of melt and become distorted. I like this one much better, picture is clearer and night vision is much better. I don't drive daily, so I try to remember to pull it off and put it on the floor so it isn't in direct sunlight.

Love love LOVE this!!! Originally purchased for my boyfriend but it now is in my car and he has my old one lol. Has a g sensor, loop recoding. Also the picture quality is fantastic. Probably the easiest instructions EVER. while recording and driving at the same time the picture is clear and not blurred. Also the night vision is excellent my other one at night it was not clear and could not always make out the picture.

Works just as described.

This is the worst camera I 've come across. The angle of view is hardly 30-40 deg. Night vision doesn't work.

The screen was so dark that even in the middle of the day the unit was unusable

It stopped working. I went on a long drive and I was thinking that dash cam is recording the beautiful route. It left me only disappointment 👎🏼

This product is a waste of money, I'm not recommending this to anyone, coz you will regret buying it. Buy something that is quality wise...

From right out of the box the batteries will not hold a charge. I have no choice but to return the items as there is now way to contact them about a battery replacement.

CONS: Turns off immediately (even when fully charged); have to keep it plugged in to the charger 24/7 when driving. I drive in NJ.

WHILE INSTALLING IT, i pressed on the device to hard and the screen cracked, and liquid leaked.

After 2 days the HUD messed up and I can only see a light up screen with no visual. Not a good purchase.
