I love this shampoo! The smell is amazing and when I wash my hair I can definitely tell there is mint. It makes my scalp feel refreshed and clean!

In the search for a shampoo that is natural, yet lathers well (without sodium lauryl sulfate) with a reasonable price, I found that this one works pretty well on oily hair and somewhat soothes your scalp. I couldn't give it 5 stars because it is a bit expensive to use on a daily basis and also wished the extra strength tea tree mint version came in a bigger bottle. It is the best tea tree shampoo without SLS that I have tried so far. Am going to try Nature's Gate shampoo to compare since it is a little cheaper (at least through a big box mart) and comes in a bigger bottle.

This shampoo is amazing. I have an EXTREMELY dry itchy scalp, that is not helped by the fact that my nervous tick is picking or scratching at my scalp. Three washes with this has pretty much eradicated my scabs to where I’m not embarrassed to get a hair cut or have a hair dresser in my hair. My hair also feels SO soft and usually I have pretty coarse hair. I also use the ogx coconut shampoo and conditioner set, all three in my hair twice a week and omg. I’ve noticed a difference in like 2 weeks. I do let the tea tree shampoo set in my hair for a few minutes and it has really changed my hair. This was a last resort before I bought some crazy expensive products and I definitely won’t be doing that now. I also really love the fragrance and lather ability of this shampoo, it smells really minty but not overwhelmingly so, and it lathers up very well. My extension specialist gave it the ok for my extensions as well, so that’s nice and it’s waaaaaayyyyy more affordable than redkin or the from the salon stuff I was about to invest in 😩

I have been using it for several years and it cleans my hair well and has a hint of mint scent.

Please note i love this product normally. However, this last shipment the product was a little cloudy which I attributed to shipping temperatures. However, I should have returned it because it began growing white wispy something inside of the shampoo. It was obviously contaminated, and I am not happy with this last shipment. Firstly, please note this OGX makes two different mint/tea tree shampoos. This review is for the extra strength/refreshing version versus the moisturizing version. (I can only find this version on amazon, as my local stores only carry the moisturizing version.) I have found that the extra strength/refreshing version of this mint and tea tree shampoo, very invigorating, a pleasant smell, which is a more minty (refreshing) then a tea tree oil (medicinal) smell. It makes my scalp tingle, and has really seemed to help with my oily hair. Normally a 2x a year I have to do a salicylic acid treatment on my scalp as my skin can build up in patchy areas during allergy season. But since using this shampoo i have not needed to do that. For me this shampoo is perfect because of my oily scalp… so for those without oily scalp, you may find you need a conditioner afterwards, or try the moisturizing version Note: if you have an oily scalp make sure to use this version and not the moisturizing version.

Excelente shampoo, con buen aroma para uso diario, tanto para hombre como para mujer. El tea tree ayuda a que el pelo no se vea grasoso. Conviene pedirlo en orden frecuente para obtener mejor precio. También te recomiendo de esta misma marca el acondicionador te tree y menta.

Pretty disappointed! My scalp is itching now after one use. Was looking for a cheap sulfate free shampoo for super oily scalp but an itchy scalp is definitely a fail. Can't comment yet on oil control.
