This handcuff pouch is perfect for carrying metal handcuffs. They may be overkill for the plastic ones unless you really want to look the part. We have a child who is fascinated with police officers. He received some metal handcuffs for Christmas but had them tucked under his waistline as a way of carrying them. This pouch has solved that problem. Two looks straps with velcro for the belt loop plus a button for each means that this pouch will stay in place. The snap button that retains the handcuffs is strong too so it will not open with slight pressure. This pouch is slightly stiff but I imagine that is by design. It may break is and loosen up some after use. Definitely a great product and holster.

I have a set of S&W metal handcuffs and was on the search for a case. I picked this one because it seemed easy to operate, sturdy, and would do a good job of preventing them from falling out. What really made the decision easy was that it included a molle attachment, as my tactical belts, backpacks, vests are all molle.I was a little confused by the second inside pocket but sounds like it’s to prevent shaking -and clanging when on the move. As another reviewer stated, it’s not big enough to hold two sets. The case is sturdy but it’s not a snug fit, so the extra pocket seems like a good option to have. I tested putting the cuffs in chain side down and cuff side down and they fit either way. Of course if you want to utilize the second pocket, they’d have to be cuff side down. I felt they were a better fit chain side down, but I guess it’s nice to have the option.I did notice, as some other reviewers mentioned, the front flap was a little difficult to close at times, but there will always be pros and cons depending on the type of case/carrier you use. I thinks it’s only a minor inconvenience based on my use. Might be a bigger hassle for everyday use, but with that, it also provides easy access, and is completely enclosed. I’d say the pro outweighs the con here and I can’t see taking a star off for it. Photos included for reference.

The product is solid construction and holds hinged handcuffs. The snaps are weak though. I would not recommend this product and I am returning my purchase.

These are are a huge upgrade from the hard plastic shell I’ve been using to hold my cuffs.I’ve read other complaints about not being able to snap this shut, and it closes fine with one hand if there are actual cuffs in it. Empty - it’s definitely harder to close.Price when reviewed: $11.98

the snap on the front is easy to open but takes some effort to close since the area on the cuffs where their wrists would be is pretty much dead center where the snap is located so there is no solid surface to support the snap while you are pushing down on it trying to close it. they made the nylon shape pretty rigid but unfortunately not enough to solve this issue. it feels durable and would probably take a good amount of abuse before needing replacement.having a front and a back pouch to help silence any jingling is a nice touch, but i can't say i notice a huge difference unless i start getting creative

Cuffs fit securely in holder with flap that snaps down over them. Well made nylon and snap is secure. The stitching is tight. Would make a great gift for that special officer in your life. 2 thumbs up
