I was really excited to receive these eyeshadows and hoped they would help brighten my eyes and make them pop because of the shimmer. The colors are beautiful in the pan, and the shimmer looks gorgeous at first glance. Unfortunately, my experience using them was a bit disappointing. From the start, the packaging was difficult to open without tearing the box. When I applied the shadow with my finger, the shimmer looked chunky and uneven, with the glitter clumping in certain spots. I then tried using a brush on the other eye, but the color payoff was much lighter and not very pigmented. I was hoping for more even coverage and something easier to apply. While the price was reasonable, I’m not very impressed with the overall performance of these eyeshadows.

Edited: it’s worthless. If you can jam your finger into it and melt it into your skin in a large swatch with a lot of pressure like on my hand, then it’s great. If you want to use it as a eyeshadow highlight, it’s inapplicable. It cannot be applied. It’s got this weird oil compound in it that makes it clump, but it isn’t sticky, so it just clumps up on the brush, then you have to place the clump on your skin, then you have to smear with your finger because the brush will just knock the clump off. See last photo of how it attaches to a brush. That’s a fully loaded, no knocked off product brush. Original: Beautiful product; beautiful color. It doesn’t smell, it goes on easily with a brush and blends out nicely with a finger. It is a bit clumpy coming out of the compact — it isn’t loose powder and it acts like there’s something making it clump together, which isn’t a bad feeling, just an observation. I wish they had filled the compact up more than halfway. I already feel like the small compact was a little expensive and then it’s not even full? Disappointing. My pictures of it on my hand is an application blended down with a finger then a dark, unfocused application on top — because some use for a soft almost unnoticeable application and some want to be stardust eyes — so you can see both. The waterproof test was awesome, but it did come off very easily with a little bit of hand soap.

This highlighter looks amazing, but unfortunately causes eye irritation and dry crepey skin on my eyelids for a week (I have no allergies) I love the effect of it but cannot use on my eyes :(

Not great pigmentation, and it's the cheap crappy kind of highlighter that breaks up in the pan after one swipe of the top layer. Not really worth it, I mean it wasn't that expensive but still I regret buying.
