Item as described.
These are exactly as described. I bought these to laser engrave for trophy plaques. They come with the screws and an adhesive backing. They are quite thin, but worked great for what I need. They do not laser engrave dark! They will laser engrave white. They appear to be brass coated tin. If you are going to laser these, please make sure you are in a well vented area, or have a fume extractor. It does put off quite an odor.

Nice Plates!
The Yaocom 12-piece gold name plates are truly a professional-grade solution disguised as an accessible DIY kit. Right out of the box, the quality of the brushed solid metal is outstanding. They have a substantial weight and a beautiful, consistent gold finish that instantly elevates the look of any item, whether it's labeling equipment, display cases, or personalized woodwork. The round-corner design is a key feature that adds a touch of modern sophistication, making these tags look far more expensive than their cost. For anyone needing a bulk set of blank, customizable plates ready for high-detail work, these offer exceptional value without sacrificing a premium, durable feel. The real advantage of these 1" x 3" plates lies in their versatility for customization and mounting. The surface is perfectly prepared for laser engraving or etching, producing clean, crisp results for highly professional text and logos. Furthermore, Yaocom provides excellent dual mounting options: a strong adhesive backing for quick application and pre-drilled holes with included screws for permanent, heavy-duty fixture. This flexibility is fantastic, but if I had one minor con, it would be that the initial peel-and-stick adhesive isn't foolproof on highly textured or dusty surfaces; for anything high-traffic or valuable, using the included screws is definitely the most secure approach. Overall, the Yaocom name plates exceed expectations for both material quality and finished aesthetic, easily earning a five-star rating. They are ideal for crafters, small businesses needing high-quality product identification, or anyone looking to add a polished, permanent label to a project. The only functional drawback is simply that the 1" x 3" size, while standard, can be slightly restrictive for longer names or detailed descriptions, so plan your text accordingly. If you need durable, attractive, and easily customizable metal plates that offer multiple robust ways to mount, look no furtherโthese are a fantastic investment for adding that professional finishing touch.

The Screws...the Screws SUCK
Not bad for laser-engraving, they look nice enough once engraved, but jumpin' Jesus on a Pogo Stick, these screws are made from the cheapest Chinesium pot metal I've ever seen. They are complete garbage. I literally snapped two of them off screwing them into pre-drilled holes in PLA plastic, with barely any resistance. One snapped off being *unscrewed* from plastic. The metal almost looks like tin; I have no idea of its content, but I'm guessing it's just a mix of very cheap steel of varying grades; I'm guessing it has a high carbon content to make it so brittle. Also, the plates themselves appear to made of the same metal--thin and very bendable, with just a electroplated layer of brass a few molecules thick. Attempting to engrave these resulted in chunky silver-colored engravings. Meh, good enough; you get what you pay for.

Good for nametags
This was exactly what i needed to add to my grandmother ashes. I love that i could either use screws or just stick it on. It was thin enough that it was easy enough to add name and date without any issues. I have 11 more than I needed but for the price it was worth it, if i find a use and run out i would definitely get again.

Brass like colored substance
These are NOT brass. They are a brass like substance that looks like plastic on the inside. If you are laser engraving, as I tried these do not engrave well.

Good quality and durability
Purchased these for my laser engraver and they worked well. They engraved nicely and seem to be holding up well.

Not engraving quality product.
These are not good for engraving. They are brass colored aluminum plates. They have a paper sticky back that makes them not same height across the product. So if you are on a cnc engraver they will over cut one side and barely scratch the other. Might be good for laser to burn off the brass coloring. Buying these to engrave they are going to be a waste of time.

Cheap aluminum
Photos lead you to believe they are brass, as both surface and edges of the tag appeared to be gold. In reality it's just anodised aluminum of a very cheap quality. Probably can get these for 1/3 price on Aliexpress

Not as described
Totally false advertising. The laser wonโt even mark them at full power. I used a 1/32 end mill with fair results. These are a brass coated aluminum. Another disappointment. It will be interesting to see how long the brass looking coating lasts.
