I like the size and the design. good for square shape, doesn't waste tofu like with round shape.

I’m not sure who could use this tiny press with no locking mechanism. I’m returning it for refund.

Yes, I read the description and saw the measurements. Somehow, seeing the actual product makes it look even smaller. If you are going through the trouble of making tofu, why would you make such a tiny amount? You wouldn’t. I decided to use it for the excess cheese curds I sometimes end up with when pressing time comes around.The unit comes with an abundance of very porous cheese cloth; good for tofu, awful for soft cheese curds as they can drain through the holes. It also comes with two strong rubber bands that hold the follower in place. I’m guessing the pressure applied by these is some around two or three pounds. This is not sufficient for very firm tofu, so you’ll have to rig up some way to apply more pressure. This is especially true for cheeses.It seems to be well made from good grade plastic. I’d like to see one about three or four times larger. Anyway, if small batches are what you’re doing, tofu or cheeses, this is a decent choice. If you’re working larger batches (1 gallon or more), make a different choice.

I wanted a smaller size mold and this is exactly right. Perfect for one person who doesn't eat tofu every day.

It is suitable for cooking practice. I am going to a cooking school now. I bought it because I needed it to make cheese. It is small, easy to carry, and suitable for practice.

Use it every week no issues

used it for me first time making tofu and soon realized how bad the product design was. super small and hard to use, no good spot to place weight for drainage, too many unnecessary holes makes it hard to clean.
