Great speaker for surround use if you don't have a ton os space or want to keep the speaker size to a minimum without sacrificing sound. Solid build like the rest of the Elac line.

Purchased these to use as rear surrounds in a tight space. Worked perfectly! The thin design allows these to be placed almost anywhere. They also completely surprised me with the sound quality. Really nice sounding speakers, can't beat the price. Very very easy to hang on a wall too, very easy to use accessories are included.

ELAC is a company that produces medium priced, high quality speakers - easy to find 'audio reviews' online and most reviewers highly regard ELAC. I already had another pair of ELAC bookshelf speakers as I upgraded my home theater system to 9.1 (atmos). I needed a set of side/rear speakers to add in. These are beautifully designed for ON THE WALL setup - easy to mount flush. Note they have DOWN firing passive bass reflex ports on the 'bottom' of the speaker box, which helps with the bass. For the price, the sound, the build quality and especially since these are one of the few WALL MOUNT DESIGNED speakers, I can highly recommend these.

These are pretty decent and provide a nice sleek form factor. Clarity is good and about what you expect at this price level. They have pretty poor low end response. Definitely less than other speakers this cost. This is where the on-wall form-factor really hurts. Recommendation: avoid on wall unless you absolutely have to. If you do, these are a decent choice.

Great sound, nice clear accurate. The thin design makes them great behind a couch close to the wall.

Needed something better in my kitchen system. I was originally running a soundbar but never liked it. I then switched to a Wiim Amp and a pair of Cambridge Audio Minx Min 12 speakers and a sub which was better. It was asking a little too much of those little speakers though. The highs were recessed and very mid forward. They weren't bad little speakers if you keep their limitations in mind. These ELAC speakers have been working out much better for me. Their frequency range is better and understanding dialogue is easier. Their depth is a winning feature and even my wife is happy with them.They aren't perfect and are not as good as a normal bookshelf speaker but that is to be expected with the limitations we are asking for. They have made me happy for where I am using them!

Good sound for small speakers

I put these about 45 degrees behind my center seating position and they work fantastically. I rather hated that I had to drive screws into the beautiful finish myself, but at least they were marked (not predrilled).I leave the speaker grills off since they are out of reach of my kids and I think the kevlar and wood veneer look fantastic.Sound-wise I would honestly look for cheaper alternatives as surround speakers if you don't need them wall mounted. The included mounting and down firing ports sold me for my room setup.
