This is an illegal device in the USA
It is against fire alarm codes to install a device that looks like a fire alarm device that is not a fire alarm device. If there is a fire and someone is hurt or killed where one of these devices are installed, you are opening yourself up to a lot of liability-it gives a false sense that there is a fire alarm system installed. You can likely be fined by the building code officials or the fire department for having this installed anywhere.
