If you want the luxury of a commercial water cooler hidden right inside your kitchen cabinets, this is the way to do it. I paired this Express Water Chiller with my 6-stage Reverse Osmosis system, and it has been a total game-changer for our tap water. Water Quality: 5/5 The stainless steel internal components are fantastic. It chills the water perfectly without introducing any weird metallic or plastic aftertaste. It preserves the exact crisp, clean taste of my highly purified RO water and just delivers it ice-cold. Clarity of Instructions: 5/5 The manual was straightforward, well-illustrated, and made integrating this unit into my existing under-sink setup completely foolproof. I didn't have to guess about any of the connections. Value for Money: 5/5 Having on-demand, ice-cold filtered water right at the sink saves me from ever having to buy expensive bottled water, and it completely eliminates the need for a bulky, freestanding water cooler taking up floor space. It is worth every single penny for the convenience alone. Ease of Installation: 5/5 The included 1/4" quick-connect fittings are an absolute lifesaver. It took just a few minutes to splice the chiller right into the water line running between my RO tank and the dispenser faucet. No professional plumbing experience needed! Size: 5/5 At just over 7 inches wide, it is surprisingly compact. It tucked neatly under the sink right next to my RO system and tank without hogging all my under-cabinet storage space. The built-in cooling fan also has plenty of room to breathe. Water Filtering: 5/5 While this unit is a chiller rather than a filter itself, it is the ultimate companion to my heavy-duty filtration setup. It handles the highly purified, remineralized water flawlessly, acting as the perfect final step to give me that premium, bottled-water experience straight from the tap.

Worked really well for a couple of weeks, then it started leaking. Unfortunately it was out of return window, (we ordered while we were moving into new house and did not install it right away) I attempted to contact the product’s customer support, through the link in Amazon app. The recording continues to tell you that the wait time is 1 minute, this recording is repeated several times until you’re disconnected. And of course the obligatory satisfaction survey follows…asking you to rate them, as if they had answered and had been helpful. I initially had given this product a 5 star rating but short operational life and absence of customer support makes me rate it as a DO NOT BUY.

After trying other ways to chill the water from my water filter, I was just not happy. So I decided spend the extra money and by this 'proper' water chiller that seemed intended for exactly what I wanted. I use it to chill the water from my 5-stage RO water filter to the dedicated faucet at my kitchen sink. It works great! I have this in my RV and have the chiller located in the 'basement' storage area with plenty of space around it to be ventilated. I have not tried it squeezed in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. I simply used extra 1/4 pipe to connect between the filter output and the faucet. It cools fast. If you were to run all the cold water through, it takes about 10-15 minutes to chill the internal tank completely. Having a look inside, I found one wire against a sharp metal edge. I added a small protection around that wire and relieved the tension on it. Beyond that, it looks well made and assembled. It was pricey but at least you get what you pay for. I recommend.

I had previously owned an Elkay under counter chiller. It was slightly bigger and noisy. It failed, so I bought this chiller at about 1/3 the cost with the coupon. It is almost dead silent and chills colder than the Elkay unit. If you already have a line spliced into your cold supply, it comes with everything you need to install. Very happy with purchase. Time will tell if it is reliable.

It works great but based on reviews I worry about the longevity. Easy to install

I purchased with an under sink RO filter and a flood monitor. The filtered water goes through the chiller and out the countertop dispenser. The flood monitor detects any leaks and controls the water shut-off valve just in case the RO unit, plumbing, or chiller failed. I use the cold water for drinking and also fill my countertop ice maker for crystal clear ice. I do wish it chilled the water even colder, but it's definitely refreshing on a warm summer day right out of the tap. Runs quiet and I've had it for almost a year now so I would say it's also dependable.

This product failed and flooded my kitchen, costing us thousands of dollars in damage. Now the manufacturer won't even respond to our emails. We're not asking them to cover damages. We just want a refund on their defective product. Here's the full story: I installed this product EXACTLY to the installation instructions. I even used a pressure regulator to bring my water pressure down to the recommended level (per the installation instructions). I checked every connection and hose many times to ensure no leaks. I then continued to check for leaks several times a day. And then several weeks after use, I noticed a leak happening from within the water chiller. I removed the front panel and could see where the water was dripping from. I took pictures and sent it to the manufacturer (Express Water). They agreed that it was defective and they very quickly shipped me a replacement unit. Once the new unit arrived, I switched it out with the original unit and kept all the connections the same and of course triple-checked that everything was secure and no leaks were occurring. I again proceeded to keep an eye on everything to make sure nothing was leaking. Everything was fine for a few days until I woke up to about an inch of water in my kitchen and water gushing out of the water chiller. Here's how I know this wasn't an installation error on my part: I killed the power to the water chiller and the water immediately stopped. This defective product has cost us thousands of dollars in damage to our brand new kitchen. Luckily, the flood restoration company we called was able to get to our house quickly which saved our cabinets. But our floor is completely ruined in a very large area because of the vast amount of water that made it's way underneath the floor boards. If that's not frustrating enough, here's the shady thing that Express Water did: they changed my ability to request a refund through Amazon. I have a screenshot of the Amazon order for this product stating that my purchase was eligible for a refund before October 22. I didn't start the return at that point because we were waiting to see if we needed to keep the product for insurance purposes (So I took a screenshot instead). On October 21, I logged in to start the refund process only to be shown a notice stating that my purchase was not eligible for a refund. They changed it on me intentionally. My only theory is they did this because they didn't want me to keep the replacement unit they shipped me and then get a refund from Amazon which of course would be stealing from them.

Bought the under sink water chiller and am very pleased. For our new home build I bought a "dumb" refrigerator that doesn't even have an ice maker let alone water feature, and added a cold water only lever style faucet to the side of our kitchen sink for this instead. We can walk up to it and just press down and have cold fresh water any time. If the unit ever dies it won't be a thing stuck in our refrigerator but something we just pop and swap. Fingers crossed it lasts a long time but 2 years in it's been perfect so far.

I love my Express Water system, but unfortunately this upgrade kit is mostly a huge money grab in my opinion. It cost me $55, but the price written on the package slip when I received it was $19.84. Something is fishy, because even if I account for conversion between USD and CAD, things still don't add up. Regardless, it is quite expensive for what you get, but necessary if you want to upgrade your system. Also, the 4 filter clips description is not accurate. In the product description, you can see that there are 2 clips of 1.5"x2.2" type, and 2 clips of 2.2"x2.2" type. What I received was this: 2 clips of 1.5"x1.5" type and 2 clips of 1.5"x2.2" type. I could have used the 2.2"x2.2" clips much better, but fortunately I could use the 1.5"x2.2" instead. The 1.5"x1.5" clips are useless.
