Not 1000 lumens!Even tho I didn’t expect them to be 1000 lumens, I’m disappointed that these outrageously exaggerated claims regarding lumens seems to be rampant with many vendors on Amazon, with no accountability. Many reviewers estimate these lights to be less than 100 lumens and I agree. Most of the 1 star ratings are a result of this false claim so I feel the manufacturer would do themselves a favor with honesty.Build quality seems adequate for the price point but 1 light out of the 4 had a faulty switch which was promptly replaced. Needless to say, I lost confidence in the quality of the switch. It feels frail and loose during operation and has a light jiggle when tapping the flashlight. Be mindful of rain when in a shirt pocket since the charging port is exposed and faces up.These lights are ideal for portability because of it’s extremely light weight, in fact, these are the lightest in my collection. I’m finally able to carry a flashlight around in my shirt pocket without the sagging effect every other “penlights” causes. The clip is sturdy and secure yet flexible enough to place and remove from your shirt with one hand.The focused beam projects a wonderful balance of radius vs range for any type of indoor inspections, or outdoor for lighting a trail or similar activity that does not require illumination beyond 20 ft. Anything further than 20-30 ft, the light diminishes too much and there is no zoom function to compensate.I like this flashlight but 3 stars because it’s the tool we’ve been given to call out and advocate against deceptive advertising, here, regarding lumens. This practice muddies the water and casts a cloud of doubt over all brands, deteriorating the credibility of what should be a resource for comparative research. If they get to lie about this, then what else are they lying about.

It's a nice looking light that you can carry in your shirt pocket and has a sufficient amount of light. The only drawback that I see is that the light beam is a definite circle with no light outside of it. At 8 ft, the light circle is about 2 ft across with no light outside of the light circle. That makes it not the best light for walking in the dark but it is very good as a light to see details better or focus on an object.

Handy I keep 2 in my kitchen 2 in my personal car. I use it for emergency to find and look hard to reach spaces.

Great small flashlights. The reason for the 4 star for durability is that the clip broke off one flahslight after couple months of usage.

It took me a long time to find the right light for my purpose. I own 12 pieces of the Dickens Village by Department 56, some are collectible. But every year putting in the lights and taking out the lights was driving me crazy and damaging the buildings. I have spent a fair amount of money looking for lighting alternatives. I FINALLY FOUND IT! I can turn on the penlights put them in the buildings and walk away. And because they can be charged by USB, I will find a way to connect them and put them on a timer. Worried they will get lost inside? No I will tie ribbon on the ones I need to. I am thrilled. I bought a second box after I found out how great they worked for the first few buildings. Now, I will probably find other uses! OH! hang them on a command strip near a dark corner in your closets so you can light your way! So glad I purchased and you need to also!

The design is perfect for carrying in my front pants pocket. Being metal and no weak screw on ends ,this mini doesn't break or come apart in my pocket after sitting or squating. The clip provided is great to hold the light at the top corner of my pocket for easy access.Most of all it's rechargable! Also comes with a common charging plug wire and a small wrist strap.A little small but my girlfriend liked it.Im getting ready to order my third box of 10. I've given one light to every family member and friend ending up without one myself. Thank you. Finally someone who built a good,durable,rechargable,mini light. They are also good to clip on the bill of your cap!

I purchased these for use as inspection lights for my technicians at work. We use them to be able to inspect equipment before use. While they are not super bright, they certainly work well for up close inspection work. The rechargable battery is a great addition for me, as it means not having to replace constantly with batteries.So far after about a month of use, no complaints about the use of the product. 4 stars though as the description says 1000 lumen when it is in fact 100.

It wasn’t what I thought I was buying, I searched for rechargeable pen light and didn’t notice Amazon put that in the list, it looked similar to the previous purchase so I bought. My bad.

This is a good inspection light very very lite you don't even feel it in your pocket. Battery last long on one charge but no way is it 1,000 lumins it might be close to 100 lumins but it is all you need for an inspection light. I gave one to my 4 year old niece to play with for a week the battery is still going without a recharge she did not break it yet and trust me she is hard on flash lights.

Pretty neat little product except one didn't work out of the package but for the price I wasn't going to complain. Relativity bright, great for giving to the kids to play with. Great for shadow puppets, keeping in the car, office or home. I use as an edc only because they are cheap to replace and work well enough.

I seldomly write reviews but I feel I need to do for this one. The wording of this product and the pictures makes you believe you are getting 4 penlights. One came in the mail. Deceiving. - don't bother.
