This Viking symbol of the Valknut has been handcrafted using 6.2k (℮) jewellery grade anodised Aluminium rings in bright silver and anodised black. The weave used is european 4 in 1 which is the same as is used in some chainmail shirts etc. The valknut (coined from Old Norse valr, "slain warriors" and knut, "knot") is a symbol consisting of three interlocked triangles. It appears on a variety of objects from the archaeological record of the ancient Germanic peoples. This would make a superb wall hanging for any fan of Vikings and can either be mounted in a frame or hung as is. All our items are sent via royal mail tracked for your peace of mind.
