Does the job.Worthwile improvement to sound.Remember the old Hi-Fi saying..... Rubbish in = rubbish out?. Sound seems superior when used in auxillary mode or blu-ray playback mode.This leads me to believe my TVs(Panasonic) sound output is poor, certainly sounds inferior to the other modes. Still much better than the TVs speakers but dont expect Hi-Fi quality.Expensive if purchased new but sometimes available used or from the Panasonic outlet store much cheaper and just as good.

My husband has 2 hearing aids, and even with these has struggled for some time with T.v. sound. A neighbour with a similar problem recommended this soundbase, and after a demonstration of his, decided to buy, excellent. Easy to set up and operate. I am a 78 year old lady, and had it up and running in minutes. Please note you will need an HDMI cable. This and the power cable the only ones to connect. Fantastic

Absolutely fantastic, really brings out the quality in the sounds, would definitely recommend if you need a boost to your music, etc.

Purchased in August 2018, it's been temperamental from day one. We purchased a new TV last week. Had hell of a time trying to get the soundbar to work. Eventually it did, and well. However!! Today, it WILL NOT power up, regardless of changing the battery (the remote) and the fuse in the plug. Will be calling Amazon over the weekend to discuss how to go forward with this. really fed up. :-(

I bought this an a whim to go with our Panasonic TV it replace's a Denon DHT-T100 , the sound output is very good it has a dialogue setting which itself can be adjusted to suit there is also cinema and stadium mode as well, the remote control is is just the right size and not over complicated. although the Denon is more powerful this Panasonic unit is very good and we are well pleased.
