It's a good light! Buy it!
While not a visually attractive device, it does work quite well. The 395nm LED is nice and bright for its size and makes glowy things glow nicely. The 365nm is obviously not as visually bright, but is clearly lower output as it doesn't make things fluoresce as strongly, which is contrary to my typical experience that 365nm is more effective than 395nm. I did buy it more for the 395nm though as I only had 365 to go hunting for glowy glass and that makes manganese glow. The 365 is definitely good enough for a backup in any event. The white side light is nice and bright, and the red side light is as well and works well to creep on my nocturnal tarantulas when they're out. The flashy red light probably won't see any practical use. Battery life is very, very good. I did try using it as a power bank to charge my phone and it said it was charging but the percentage didn't change in the hour it was plugged in while the battery indicator on the light did go down. I wan't using the phone while trying to charge. The magnet isn't super strong so it'll drop off if you bump it, but it's strong enough to hold it in place otherwise. I've been carrying it most of the time since I got it. It's a good light. For the price especially, I would recommend it.

Excellent portable light for UV.
I love this thing. Much smaller than expected. Buttons not labeled , but you can easily figure out which one it lights. Recharges quickly. Long life. I can easily get what I want done with the operating time. Very bright for it's size. Smooth case can slip in my pocket without snagging. Recharge cord included. Battery does not seem to run down when not in use.

Super Impressed!
This Flashlight is the BOMB! I am a collector of gemstones and mineral specimens and I absolutely love the fact that this flashlight offers a 365 AND a 395 UV option. Blacklight flashlights very often tend to only offer one or the other, so the fact that this one offers both UV options, as well as a white LED and Red light LED is wonderful. It seems to hold a charge for a decent amount of time when operating any function, and the fact that I'm able to use BOTH UVs AND the White LED at the same time has actually been super handy. Yes I'm pretty sure you could get a more expensive UV flashlight with a White LED, that may be brighter, but having the option when choosing your LED was way more important to me than distance brightness, and for the price this can't be beat! I absolutely appreciate the fact that this has charge level LED indicators on the front for determining how much longer I have before I need to charge it, and a magnet on the end for when I need light but also need both of my hands available. The White light isn't exactly the brightest, but when you need to be able to see what you're doing while your room is dark when using the UV light, It provides more than enough light, although I probably wouldn't recommend for use outdoors in the dark unless you have a backup spotlight. But again, for the price of this device you really can't find the same functionality so I'm not complaining one bit.

This is a generic unbranded light that should only cost $9.99 at most.
Darkbeam is a made-up brand name and is not present anywhere on the flashlight. The description is misleading and incorrect. I disassembled the entire thing and found that this is a very cheaply made, unbranded generic flashlight that has a very thin metal casing(pressed sheetmetal) over a plastic skeleton with two tiny, high-flux 3mm Piranha style UV LED's firing through a plastic frosted/orange peel lens. It is not waterproof in any way, there are no seals anywhere. The charging port cover is just a cover and isn't waterproof either. Claiming this thing also functions as a power bank is laughable unless you wish to charge a device with very, very little current draw. The magnet on the end is permanently installed and is much weaker than the description says, it will BARELY hold the light up. I glued a 12x3mm ND disc magnet to the bottom as an upgrade. The light output is appropriate for such tiny LED's, but pitiful compared to, say, a single 18" UV fluorescent tube. I am not impressed at all. The side light with red/white color is NOT a COB, it is individual 5050(or similar) LED's, and the red "strobe" feature looks like it was meant for a bicycle light. The battery is a 3.7vDC 1000mAh Li-Ion flat batt. Wiring inside is low quality and subject to vibration damage leading to a nonworking light. Control buttons are nonintuitive, poorly labeled and poorly engineered. The UV leds and their PCB only have a minimal press-fit to the metal casing for heat sinking, and initially, the whole thing became hot within a short time when in use. After disassembling/reassembling, the heat issue seems to have been fixed. Would not buy again, I overpaid and regret it.

Fantastic or cats to play with and find out where they have been spraying on your walls.
Love the fact that it comes with two different UV lights. Also has a decent red pointer light on it. Perfect for cats. Because you can play with them and also find if they have been spraying on your walls.

Very Disappointed In Darkbeams Misrepresentation of UV B 365 NM Sources
I'd send back both Darkbeam flashlights, but I don't want to be flagged by Amazon as a frequent returner. The two lights I have purchased from Darkbeam have been of reasonable quality construction with features I like. What I was hoping to obtain from this light source, was two distinct UV sources, one UV A and one UV B. The ability to have both in one source would be extremely handy. Some substances only fluoresce under UV B, but not A, so it is important to have sources specific to each. UV A is very close to violet in the visible spectrum. That is why UV A lights always have some visible light. A UV B light source should not produce any, or an extremely small amount of visible light, relative to the UV B output. Please look at the photo. The light sources are set back from the edge of the paper. The room is dark. The paper fluoresces showing all sources are producing adequate amounts of UV. The Dark Beam dual UV A and B is shown on the left. Both beams are on, and both beams are visible to the eye. Their advertised UV B is also UV A and visible light. Total misrepresentation of the product. The UV B beam should be fluorescing the paper in front of it but should have zero visible light at the emitter. The second flashlight from the left is another Dark Beam product. It is well-built, it has features I like, it too is advertised as UV B. It has plenty of visible light. It is another mis-represented product. The third light source is a DarkDawn, advertised as a 365 NM UV B light source. Note that it has very little visible light. Also note how all of these light sources produce plenty of UV A and B, as shown on the paper in the foreground. But key to a true UV B 365 NM light source is the absence of visible light. Note: This light cost $10. Quality UV B does not have to cost a lot. The source on the far right is a very high powered UV B 365 NM source. Note the extremely low visible light. In fact, the little bit you can see in the photograph is from the camera. It is partially sensitive to light just a little shorter in wavelength as violet. The naked eye can detect zero visible light from this light source. It is a UV Beast V3 and it was $80. The Darkbeam flashlights are decent quality. They have features I like, and they work well. But the company is not being honest in their representation of their sources being UV B. Yeah, they put out UV B B, and A, and too much visible light. Seriously, do not consider Dark Beams UV B light sources if you do not want visible light. The Dark Dawn is a fantastic low-cost alternative. If you need to make repeatable lab grade measurements over time with constant levels of illumination, the UvBeast is your best choice.

I like it. Appears to be 1000 mAH battery
Well, I like it. I have a lot of flashlights. This fills a niche of a light with both UV wavelengths that are useful for looking for fluorescent items. Each UV light, 395 and 365nm has its own switch. There is also a COB light that has alternating White and Red LEDs. The UV lights are fairly bright for their size, and if you have any Uranium glass it will really glow. The COB light is not super bright, but works, and the Red is good and not too bight for use at night. Thank goodness there are not too many "modes" to cycle through, no stupid SOS for example. USB C type charging port is appreciated. The size is quite small and light, smaller than I expected, so I assumed a low capacity battery. I was surprised that the white light was still glowing a bit after 10 hours of run time. Putting it on the tester showed that the charge capacity was about 1000 mAH. As a crazy extra, the flashlight can act as the world's smallest power pack to charge your very small device, and there is a USB A port for that; you will probably never use that, but cool.

Good money checker
This is my go-to pseudo emergency flashlight, counterfeit checker, and dust finder all in one. I’ve been using it almost daily, and it works great. The dim red light is a nice bonus when you need a bit of light without it being too bright. The UV lights do make the device a little warm after a while, but so far, I haven’t had any problems.
