Camping Hatchet -Chopping Axe with Leather Sheath, 22.3" Forged Carbon Steel Wood Splitting Axe for Chopping Camping Survival

Had a tornado rip threw my town a year ago and am even now still have trouble in plenty of ares to get through. This axe makes up for where the chainsaws fail or can't safely move.

i was looking for a packable hatchet for hunting. i have an axe or two and thought this would be easier to strap to a pack. it is smaller than a full size axe, but its kinda chunky for a hunting pack. it does seem to split wood pretty good tho. didnt come very sharp so had to clean up the edge a bit, but the handle is comfy enough and if it holds up, it will be put to good use when spring camping comes around again.

The handle is solid. Feels good in the hand.

Looks good but looks like it was thrown in the mud covered in dirt and looks like it had been sitting in the woods for a while scratched up and dull

Product is not exactly as displayed in images. Paint/color (black) is off and it’s evident it was only lightly coated as the brown grain still shows through. The provided sheath is a cheap imitation grade “leather” that I’m sure will not hold up. On top of that they sent me a Brown one instead of the black one that should have come with the my black axe. I hope it performs better than it looks.
