Great for aquariums
Working great. Matched ph of my other probe as well. Now my water changes will be spot on. Also does TDS, and conductivity.

Works great
This meter was easy to set up, is very functional, a great value, the design is nice. I have only used it once so far, so I won't be able to give an accurate account on the battery life, or it's durability. It seems like it is well built and should last a long time. Only time will tell...

Better than most at this price.
I've been using this tester for about 8 months now and it has held it's calibration well. It's never been off by more than .1 ph every time I calibrate it. I'm using this with a Rise Garden and it works well. I've tried a few other meters in this price range and this one has worked the best.

It's accurate trust me I own several of these devices.
I'll keep it short, (yeah right)! but as far as these pens go I am a hardcore stickler when it comes to these pens and use several different types and brands that I have meticulously calibrated. When I ph my water I use two or three different pens and compare them for consistency and accuracy. After passing my rigorous calibration process I make my decision to keep or return it if it doesn't work perfectly. This pen has a large backlit display and is accurate to .01. Pens accurate to .1 are worthless because of the broad range in the reading. You can't determine it's accuracy. I first dipped this pen in a ph solution of 7.00 and it read 6.89. Not bad for right out of the box. I then calibrated using my very meticulous 3 part solution process of 7.00, 4.00, and 10.01. The pen now reads the solutions to a T. Calibration successful. I use this with other pen when checking p.h. and this pen reads within .01 which is almost perfect. So if said other pen reads 6.27, this pen will read 6.26 to 6.28 which is as close as your ever going to get! I've lost several plants due to stunting and nutrient deficiency because my ph was way off. I can't stress enough how important this is to the health of your plants. I have four other $25-$30 pens and this is my favorite along with one other that is similar. Make sure it has a large backlit display, and is accurate to .01 or in my opinion is a waste of time and money. Use a 3 part solution for calibration. Some pens use different values. All my pens calibrate to 7,4, and 10.01. I only buy ones with these values. Try to use solution not the powder you mix with water, if you can. Keep the pen cap in electrode storage solution even if your pen doesn't have any included. Just cut a small piece of sponge and put it in the bottom of the cap and wet it with solution. You can used distilled water if you don't have any. Buy a 12 dollar calibration solution kit with storage solution. Practice calibrating Al least every two weeks to keep your instruments in check.

works great. Easy to program.

Mileage can vary
I won't be buying this one again. From the start TDS was accurate, but the Ph was way off. Even after rehydration of the tip (it came dry) this probe would drift badly after calibration.

Leaked, stopped working
Worked fine until I really needed it six months after purchase.Noticed that the display was fogged up with water. Would not work properly after that.
