what size would you get for a toy poodle

I don't think I would buy this for a toy poodle. The bristles are made of sharp wire and I think it may hurt your dog. That is my opinion. I have a 50 pound goldendoodle and I only use it away from his skin. It's very sharp.

I can’t seem to find brush dimensions. I noticed there is a normal size, large, and small. How much smaller is the small vs normal size?

I only know the small size brush. The brush part is 4 1/4" wide X 2 1/2" tall. The total length (handle and brush) is 7".

Which is easier to operate, the push button or the slide button?

The toggle button on this brush works flawlessly and appears to be well-designed. We have had no problems engaging and retracting the brush to remove unwanted dog hair into a trash receptacle. Unwanted hair removal is very simple and can be done with one hand.

Is the new slide button version an upgrade in your opinion? Very hard to slide?

The brush I received does not have a slide button. It has a push button & it’s fairly easy use.
