2nd Update - Great product
We got this one of three turbines up and it works perfectly. Very well designed and does what they say it does. This one is the 1k version, and on day one with a moderate wind condition for Western Rockies we were seeing 600 to 800 watts continually. We would highly recommend this company. Very well designed and easy to build. The only parts we had to fabricate, weld, etc., are the specific mounts that attach the main tube to the roof as seen in the attached pic. 2nd Update - Added pic of second turbine which feeds to out big, year round greenhouse in conjunction w/solar. Been working great. ONE POINT - Make sure to Lock-tite the very little bolts that hold the propeller to the motor shaft. It WILL get loose, and fly away.ANYONE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COMPANY? FEW MONTHS AGO THEY SENT US SOME ADDED PARTS AND THEN DISAPPEARED.

Very powerful for it's size
The unit is brushless A/C to D/C conversion. First I recommend going to 6 blades not a 3 blade setup. . It's very east to bolt on bottom plate and then set generator in top of tube. Use the upper and lower plates bolted to the tubes that hold the blades. The design is awesome and fast assy! The blade design along with the wind catchers for the tubes really makes power at low winds speeds. I tested at 5-6mph and had 16 volts output. At 10 mph you will see 26-30 volts. For the money this thing is awesome!
