Pure Magic Baby Butter, 7 Oz

I don’t recommend using this on a baby but instead of throwing it out I kept it for myself and it isn’t too bad. Heavy, so I apply before bed.

My baby has had dry skin all through out the winter. His face, arms, and legs in particular are very prone to drying out in the cold weather. I have tried many products on my babys skin. He seems to get better and as soon as we go outside, it gets worse. I decided to try this baby butter to see if it will make a difference. The butter itself is very rich. It goes on nice and smoothly and absorbs pretty quickly. It does not feel greasy at all. It has a light scent, not too overpowering. I can't say that it lasts for 24 hours. But it does offer moisture to a degree for a extended period of time. My wife has actually tried this product on her belly, as we are expecting. It works well. However, my sons skin still gets dry when going outside. So I try to apply this butter before leaving the house and a bit when we return. My son has very sensitive skin, so finding a good product for him is very challenging.

The pure magic baby butter is a thick cream that is nourishing and hydrating but heavily perfumed. I was not able to apply this to my sensitive skinned child because of the potent perfume additive. I felt that the cream smells feminine but my husband found it to smell fresh or clean. It smells like a spray perfume and is lovely but does not smell childlike. I do not think this is suitable for a child that has eczema or delicate skin and this is based on personal previous experience. Since this lotion is heavily perfumed I recommend spot testing on your child or ordering for yourself because of its hydrating abilities. It works well but perhaps it would be more appropriately aimed at adults.

Baby Butter is a wonderful feeling cream, but I like it better for adults than babies because of the moderately strong artificial fragrance. This cream is thick and rich, but not greasy or sticky. It doesn’t irritate or aggravate my dry, sensitive skin and instead makes it feel comfortable and well hydrated all day. I love applying it after my shower as it seems to lock in moisture and leave my skin feeling really smooth and soft. Although not chemical free, this cream doesn’t have parabens, phalates or dyes and does have some nice ingredients like shea butter and aloe. I’m a fan of this product for myself, but I’d like to see a fragrance free version for babies. Because it’s a baby product, I’m taking one star off for the fragrance. 4 stars.

I ordered this for my nephew. I thought it would be safe because it is hypoallergenic and free of dyes, sulfates, phthalates, parabens, and formaldehyde. However, after it arrived I looked at the ingredients list and I wasn't so sure anymore. I decided to try the baby butter on myself. It is a nice, thick butter that isn't super greasy. It feels moisturizing and it did make my skin softer.I tried a small amount on my nephew and it did not irritate him, so we have been using it on him. It helps with dry skin. Overall, it works but it isn't as natural and pure as we initially thought. We will probably search for a different product to use after this runs out.

This smells lovely, like a baby product should smell in my opinion. It goes on easily and absorbs on my skin well except my hands that I used to apply it, they remained oily. The only thing I think I would have liked better was a safety seal, the product came without an inner or outer seal so I have no way of knowing if it was opened previously.

This is so soft, rich and creamy. I use it on my hands and feet at bed time. It's also great for adding essential oils to. I put a little scoop of the cream in my hand, add a drop of essential oil, and then rub the lotion in. I've also used the Pure Magic Baby Butter on my 2 year old grandson when his legs were dry. It soaks in nicely without feeling heavily greasy. Neither of us have reacted to it at all. It's wonderful and my heels need its nourishment after a summer of wearing sandals.

Not just for babies. I have very sensitive skin, and so I sometimes choose products made for babies, which rarely cause reactions like redness and burning. This Pure Magic Baby Butter is creat. It's soft and non-greasy and is perfect for summer days when I need something light got moisturizing. The bonus is that I have something to use for my granddaughter when she visits, as she too, has dry skin issues.
