I wish I had spent my money on solar panels. I even bought extra paddles to make it work better. Unless you live up a mountain in gale force winds this thing produces the square root of FA power. I even replaced the bridge rectifier with a proper controller, but strong wind is so rare no significant energy gets added to my 550AH bank. Only about 1 or 2 days per month does it spin very fast and create about 5-10watts. Bright yellow paddles spinning attracts some negative comments too. Weak magnets and a large gap between the rotor and stator make for lousy output. I live in the middle of a field, am an electronics engineer and won't be adding any more wind to my hybrid system. This thing has an ROI of never.

Quality is acceptable but for the money good not so sure about the generater only time will tell

Although the sellers of this product were a little unhelpful in response to product enquiries, I have mounted this on a free standing pole tethered to the ground by guide ropes. The sellers also described this item as a "toy". I think not, it has proven its worth in being more than efficient for my requirements. It will be used in conjunction with a camper van.

i bought a 500watt vawt 24 volt vawt from makemu that is an absolute disaster , 24 x500 should produce 20amps, it produces .5 amps in big wind , a very bad buy.

I tried to read and understand the product description for this unit. Sadly to say it made no sense and seems it was written by a drunk person. If products from Asia are sold, please ensure that the description can be understood by people in the western world.
