great read
Keeps you wanting to come back for more. A suspense that is evil throughout and keeps you wondering how it fits together.

Please hire a proof reader
I really enjoy Amy Cross's books, but she really needs to hire a proof reader. It astounds me the level of detail she messes up. In the book so far ( and I am not yet 50% through) we have had the eldest child's age reported as 18 and 16, and the same day in the book listed as 17th May and then the 11th May. Numerous spelling mistakes also. Other books of hers are just as bad with one book 3am constantly messing up the room numbers of a tower block (and this was an important part of the book with one room being haunted but it's number kept changing throughout the story). I can't fault her story telling and I will keep on reading, but please plot your story and perhaps write down dates, ages and room numbers so that I constantly don't have to keep wondering what's going on. Do that and I can forgive the constant use of the wrong word in a sentence, and get on with enjoying what is always a cracking story.

Good read.
I'm a big fan of Amy Cross. I find her stories pretty original and can really draw you in. Better proof-reading or hiring someone to do it is a must. A common theme throughout this and many of her books are errors in characters ages or dates of events etc. This book was quick and easy read, I was interested to see where the story took Paula and her father, as well as Sebastian. Ending could have been a bit better though, was a bit rushed.

Good story, not well writtem
Deeply disturbing but a good scary read.I felt that a simple proof read would have made it better as there were numerous spelling and grammatical errors that stunted the story a bit. Also at the beginning weβre told the eldest sister is 18, then a few chapters later she changes to 16 despite not going back in time. The date changes, even though itβs supposed to be the same date as well. There are a couple of inconsistencies in the book which I feel could have been easily rectified. A couple of the chapters felt very rush-written.Having said that, the general story is good and I will be looking at more from this author in future. Hopefully this is one of her earlier works.

A great and scary read!
The Farm is a really great horror story set over several decades. Paula and her father move to the farm that has been empty for years after three sisters died there. There is something evil about the place but what is it, and how is it able to control people? What else is hidden in this strange little Norwegian town? A lot is going on but it is easy to understand and the story has a great pace. There is even scope for a sequel at the end. In places this book genuinely scared me so I think it will definitely appeal to even the most jaded of horror fans. Yet to read an Amy Cross book I didn't enjoy, this is another good one!

Fantastic - Horror At It's Best
Yet another amazing book from this author. It is not for the squeamish as it is quite graphic but ticks all the boxes for horror fans. Venture into the barn if you dare and never be the same again. It centres around a farm where 3 sisters were brutally murdered, 2 bodies were found but one never was. When another father and daughter move into the house years later it all starts again. Can she survive what will happen next.I love the ending and am waiting for a sequel to this book as that it what it hinted at.

A bit rushed
I was expecting more from this book. As this for interesting ,it sped towards the end and was left disappointed.
