The foam block arrived well before the earliest promised delivery date.Packaging was excellent.Earlier: ..We went into a mattress store to find a mattress for my wife. We were willing to spend $$$x 1000 on it.She has a chronic back issue. She did not find any of the options comfortable.We found the cheapest option (mattress made of this kind of foam block only) there. We placed it on the floor. She tried it and found it to be the best.Unfortunately, the store could not find an twin-XL size for her (they only had it in twin/Queen/King sizes).(I use memory foam mattress on my half side of our the king size frame, and needed twin-XL for her side).This option was a little expensive, but the only vendor I found that sells non-memory foam in this size.Will report back on quality in a year. So far we are very happy.FI of those who have similar back issues: we are using it directly on top of a hard piece of plywood.All other expensive stuff is all "marketing". Harder surfaces seem to be the best for chronic back aches.This Foam topper on a hard surface makes it easy for the bones, muscles and joints while keeping your back straight.This is about 40% more expensive than I was expecting based on the price of the twin foam mattress I found in the store.At least I found it and am happy with it.If somebody finds other options for future: please do share here in comments.

This is just what my husband and I needed for our mattress. We both have bad backs and are side sleepers, so we needed a much firmer top for our mattress. My husband felt better the very next morning, and I'm starting to see improvements when I wake up. Less pain, less tossing and turning. The only issue was that this was a bit too wide for our queen mattress, so I had to cut it down to make it fit. Otherwise the fitted sheet wouldn't fit properly and that would make the topper curl up on the edges, creating a dip in the middle. It was actually slightly funny, but I fixed that issue when I cut it down to the proper size.

It's just okay. I thought it would be similar to my other foam mattress which I love but it's just not as firm. It's also 3 inches shorter than my queen bed mattress. I'm not sure how that happened but I don't think size is a queen-sized, it falls short. I took off a star for that. I should send it back for that but I don't want to deal. MEASURE YOUR MATTRESS and compare the dimensions. My dogs love it. I'm thinking of cutting it up into dog beds.

I've always used mattress toppers but I noticed that the gel and memory foam toppers would get too hot at night and burn me up. Also, they would start dipping or sagging in the middle. I'm so happy I purchased this latex topper. It is extra firm and I thought it would be too hard but after about a week, it did soften a bit. It's still firm enough to support my back. I love the fact that it doesn't turn into a sauna. No more night sweats! It also didn't have that awful chemical smell like many others. It's light weight (easy to flip and turn). I highly recommend this if you're looking for a firm topper that doesn't heat up, sag and have chemical odors.

I would describe it as "medium", not "soft" or "firm", but how do you quantify that?I have back problems and have learned to fine tune the firmness of my bed with plywood, a firm futon, and foam.If you have back problems you may know that everybody's back is different so be ready to experiment and find what works for you.This foam is a good part of my solution.It was cut to the right size (within about an inch), did not smell strong even at first, and has so far held its shape well.

I have problems with my sciatic nerve and have difficult sleeping. This foam topper said it was 4 inches. It was. I have tried others that said they were 4 inches and were not. Love this topper. I sleep well on it. So thankful to have finally found what I need. Absolutely no disappointments with this. Love it. No longer dread going to bed. Now my problem is wanting to get up it is so comfortable.

Works great!! Only thing we didn't think about is that it is super thick, of course. However, it's sitting on top of a very thick mattress as well, which makes it very difficult for the fitted sheets to stay on. We had to buy clips to keep the fitted sheet on the bed/mattress.

I got bed bugs from this mattress. Very unhappy with that. It has cost me hundreds getting rid of them 😪
