He loves her just as she is...
First, I must let you know to read this series in order as all six characters, encompassing the three couples, are introduced in the first book, Wallflowers: Three of a Kind. It is so flipping good. I've been eagerly anticipating the second title and I know I'll do the same for the third. I fell in love with this author, these characters, this series, within a couple chapters. Now, Bo and Sierra's story has arrived, and I'm diving in.Sienna, PA to the CEO of Poe Publishing, has always felt invisible, misunderstood and essentially ostracized from her parents for not taking after them, nor being the perfect child like her siblings. However, when a truth is revealed when she was fifteen, she was visible, but seen as the reason her dad left, unable to live with her mom's lies any longer. Not too long after reaching adulthood, she fell for her brother's friend, only to once again become invisible as the feelings weren't returned at all. She's since started a man embargo and is sticking with it. When she and her friend, Poppy, find a third women like them, geeky, introverted, etc., they know Cali is their sister at heart, and so the Wallflowers are born.Bo, a cop, is emotionally jaded due to the abandonment of his mom while he was young, and the impact it had on his dad. Bo has stubbornly become set in his ways, vowing to avoid any woman that reminds him of his mom. Upon meeting Sienna, he perceives her to be the same way, believing her as headstrong, a rule breaker, and nothing but trouble, yet at the same time the pull to her is so strong. When Sienna is faced with her past in the form of Chase, the guy she believed herself to be in love with, she quickly realizes what she felt for him was nothing but imagining him as the one who would save her, any hold he had on her is long gone. She's free. Now, if only she could let go of the attraction she feels for Bo...but she knows what she feels for him is real, completely different from her young crush on Chase. However, it's clear Bo feels nothing for her but annoyance and disgust, a fact made evidenced by the heartbreaking words he hurls at her while fighting what he feels for her, unable to accept Sienna is nothing like his mom.Unfortunately, as Sienna, Cali, and Poppy are trying to enjoy girls' night out, Sienna trying to magic wand her pain away, they accidentally walk into something they should, and as such, are now in danger. As Bo works toward discovering who's after them and why, his connection, his attraction, to Sienna steadily grows stronger, and he begins to see her in a different light, realizing he misjudged her. Sienna, learning what she feels for Bo is returned, they did to take a chance and explore what they could be to one another. Can Bo make things right with Sienna before it's too late? Can he make her see that he's happy she came into his life? Will Sienna accept that Bo truly sees her as she is, and adores her for it? Are the Wallflowers safe? Will Bo uncover who's behind the attacks on them? Will Bo and Sienna get their HEA? What will happen in Nate and Poppy's story next? Has Nate learned anything about what it means to fall for a Wallflower from watching Devin and Bo do the same? Can Poppy see Nate for the man he is, and not judge him based upon the actions of someone from her past? I am so excited for their journey, yet sad to know we'll be saying good-bye to these wonderful characters.One-click now and follow along as two people, seemingly opposites, realize they have the one thing in common that counts...love.**I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.**

I like them big, braw and scowling
I think these types of stories are not for everyone. Me, I love them when I’m in the right mood. What type of book am I talking about? The Alpha hero meets his TSTL heroine… Look, what better way to make your hero sparkle and shine than to have a heroine that needs saving. Sure, it may make the heroine look utterly stupid, but you take the good with the bad.In my romance reads, I’m a sucker for a hero that is big and braw, rescuing his lady love, bare-chested, scowling at the ne’er do well baddies and charging off on his brute of a stallion. Now, you might be thinking that I’m talking about a historical romance. I’ll be honest, Double Trouble really read like a historical romance…with a touch of smutty, madcap, suspense, cowboy fun. Where else would you have the fair virginal maiden who blushes like a schoolgirl at the hint of sexual innuendo? You can’t help but think historical when a hero demands that his woman stays put and do what she’s told. Oh, the heroine gets all huffy and does what she wants anyway, leading to the hero rushing in to save the damsel in distress. Then we have the remorse after she’s saved from being stuck up a tree, fallen in the mud or came face to face with a red-haired bandit who holds a weapon to her head. See, you can’t blame me for thinking historical romance.Anyways, Double Trouble was entertaining. The sexy times were really HOT!! The suspense portion of the story was made up of a ton of coincidences that seemed to all meld together but were really miles apart. The camaraderie between 3 blokes who fall for women that are nothing but trouble. The friendship between the Wallflowers was something I can relate to. Well, the book loving portion was familiar and relatable. Not sure the TSTL portion of their friendship is something that I’d want to relate to though, as I’m not one to risk or put myself in danger. The additional characters were interesting, but I admit that Chase’s small part was a wee bit OTT and I can’t say I’m a big fan of Sienna’s family.Like Sienna, Calla and Poppy, I’m a huge fan of Julie Garwood’s historical romances and I loved the mention of the characters from them. Double Trouble really felt like a romance reader's haven. I felt comfort and familiarity at the mention of books and characters that I know and love. I smirked when the characters recognise an Alpha hero when they meet them and to some extent, even know how to handle them because of their knowledge. Sure, sure, it’s so far from reality…but isn’t it great to dream?Another great instalment to the series and I can't wait for Poppy and Nate's story.

Oh these Wallflowers get up to some mischief!
This is the second book in the Wallflowers series, and carries on where book one, Three Of A Kind finishes up.Double the trouble, double the suspense and double the laughs is what CP Smith has given us with Double Trouble. If you have read the first book, you will know doubt remember the trouble that our wallflowers, Calla, Sienna and Poppy got themselves into. This is a romantic suspense story, so it is romancey, and it is suspsensey, but it is so much more than that.I laughed, I cried, I screamed at my kindle. I shook my my head at the girls antics, felt for those mean dealing with them, whilst laughing at the same time.I adore Bo and Sienna together. They have that love/hate thing going on real well. You know things are going to be fiery between them, but whooeee those sparks!Witty writing, beautiful friendships, fun storylines, Double Trouble kept me turning page after page to find out what shenanigans the wallflowers would get up to next. There is some great set up for the third book in the series, and can't wait to see what happens next.

Loved this book
What can I say except *swoon* Bo was such an a$$ to start out, but boy oh boy did he redeem himself!Loved this book, I thought Three of a Kind was excellent and Double Trouble actually topped it! And wow but that ending! Talk about bombshell! I sincerely hope we don't have to wait too long for One Heart Remains!

Fantastic!
Amazing second book. I didn't think anything would match the first, but this did. Sienna and Bo are brilliantly flawed characters who found their strengths in each other. There are many twists and turns in this story and I didn't see any of them coming. Enjoyed that the characters from the first book were still very much present in this one. I love all the wallflowers and now that ending has me on pins! Can't wait for Nate and Poppy's story. Highly recommend.
