I have a 3 seat sundance capri and the water capacity is 250 gallons. do i only use 1/2 bottle?

I would start eith 1/2 bottle, determine if the leak has stopped, and add the remaining 1/2 bottle if the tub is still leaking.

When I dropped in in the water the solution didn't look very turbid? Does it that I received a bad batch?

My husband said when he added it (twice) it was just like skim milk in color and consistency. After the 2nd attempt it worked! Good luck!

will this work on an above ground pool with a sand filter?

Maybe but you have to bypass the filter.

I have bvc under the round 4' but it leak can marlig fix it

Not fully sure what the question is - Essentially this is a liquid sealer that gets into suspension, when pumped around the water of the tub it tends to aggregate anywhere that water is leaking out and form a plug. It then sort of semi sets up and will plug quite a few leaks - if you have access to the fitting then get in there and fix it. But if its a hard spot to access give this stuff a shot.
