The addition of the deck light makes this thing worthwhile.
When my boat was made in 1983, it only had an anchor light and a steaming light. Adding a deck light is a very good thing for making the boat safer at night.

Nice light but Finesse required
On advice of other buyers I used a heat gun to warm the flaps before I bent them. This worked very well. I also sanded down the two protruding center screws to get it to hug the mast a little better. Not sure what they were thinking putting those screws on the centerline....Overall quality is good. I tested the lights both were nice and bright. The steaming light pulled 100ma at 12v and the deck light was about 1 amp.I will update once I get the boat out at night...

Not sturdy
Plastic ears are thin and the entire piece is not suitable for any boat worth money. If you have a cheap boat then go with cheap.

Not quite waterproof as you bend the tabs the foredeck ...
Not quite waterproof as you bend the tabs the foredeck light opens allowing for water to enter. Wiring is different gauge so the hook up maybe a problem. Also the manufactured did not give the measurement from hole to hole across the tabs ; so is not an exact fit or replacement for the Aqua Series light . Since these lights are replacement light, the tabs should be without holes to achieve a precise fit. Will return item .

Waste of time and money
I installed the Mast Combo light in July when I had the mast removed. I ran new 3-conductor marine cable (Ancor 14-3) from the light to the power panel via 2 switches with only 1 junction in the wires. Functionality was verified with a 12v power supply. Mast installed later that month and the lights were functional after mast was installed. Used the light 3 times in the slip to check functionality and traveled ~15 NM on 1 trip. Tried the light the 4th time and the Steaming light does not work and does not work after trying multiple times. Both circuits have 13.2V at the connections to the wire going up to the light. Repeated attempts to contact the company have gone unanswered. Do not buy if you need this light to be functional.
