Smartwool Men's Run Cold Weather Targeted Cushion Crew Socks

With winter bearing down on us in the upper Midwest, I wanted to find running socks to keep me warm. As I was researching, these cold weather socks from Smartwool were recommended a few times so I decided to order them. After getting over the sticker shock, I have been entirely pleased. I am amazed how well they keep my feet warm despite being relatively thin when compared with my Smartwool and Darn Tough hiking socks. They have good elasticity, staying up on my calf during my runs. I ordered them in black, but was tempted by the blue. Different color options would be welcome. These are definitely a high quality product from a well known company.

When you run a lot, socks are really important. My son is a cross country and track runner. He logs in a lot of miles during the week. These socks are perfect for running in cold temperatures. They keep his feet warm without being too bulky. They wash well and I dry them on low, but take them out of the dryer before they are completely dry to avoid shrinkage. My son loves how comfortable these socks are to run in and they are becoming his new favorite.

Got these for my adult son for Christmas. He specifically asked for this brand. Was excited to get them. He says good quality, worth the price. He lives on the west coast and plays hocky

These wools socks are thick like they should be. I use them for my cold morning runs, and since my running shoes have thin upper mesh it keeps my feet as warm as possible. They feel good on my feet as well.

Most comfortable socks I've ever owned. No pulled threads like I see with so many others.

These socks are comfortable, and I love the shade of blue. They offer a bit of cushion for my feet. I do think they’re a bit too thin to be truly considered winter socks. My feet were chilly on a run in the 40s.

I ran today in 10 degree weather with my rebel v5. I don’t not feel cold whatsoever. Definite using these more.

Good product, thinner everywhere except the heel and toes than I expected but were plenty warm enough in around 0° temps last night. Quality seems good so far. Looking for a named brand makes it mostly possible to avoid the Temu and AliExpress style dross that completely fills up this online channel these days. If I wanted that kind of low quality product I'd go there not here. If it gets any worse I'll never come here again. Had to wait several days for it to be despatched while they punish us for not signing up for prime, that's usual now. Won't be surprised if this review gets pulled and I get a warning for saying something critical of the platform.

I have lots of Smartwool and other Marino Wool Products (Do check out Marino Wool clothing if you've never bought some) and these are the most comfortable fit and feel of any my socks
