For it's price, it is surprisingly good

Not the best camera but for its price point, it is surprisingly good. It does well with good lighting but struggles on a low light setting. I am loving the grains but some might not love it. It is easy to use. A straightforward point and shoot camera. Battery operated flash. Flash can be turned on or off through the dial on the lens. I actually enjoyed using this camera. As it is a half frame camera, I had a hard time finishing a 36 exposure film. Quite good though as it helps save on film cost if you are a beginner or casual film photographer.*Photos are from my test roll of Kodak Ultramax 400 using this camera.

Great product but not perfect

The experience of the KODAK is pretty great. The "two for one" nature of the portrait exposure style (allowing twice as many shots per roll) is really great for those looking to save on film, which suits the purpose well as this itself is a budget camera. The photos are often enjoyable and stylish, and it is a cheap and effective way to regain the joyful experience of film in your life, where you get to relive weeks if not months of experiences all over again when you get the roll developed. My only complaints are these : if you forget to turn off the "flash on" setting once you've used it, the battery will drain. A feature where, once the photo is taken, the flash on automatically disengages might be preferable.Additionally, it definitely suffers in low light and anything being taken in low light should be close subject that can be lit by the flash.Lastly, on a sunny day these exposures look really great, and I would personally say this is the best use case for it. A camera to quickly record cherished memories in the day time.

Great little camera

Fun to use if you want the novelty of a film camera but also want good quality pictures. Need to read the instructions carefully for the first use but once you get the hang of it it's a great camera. Make sure to turn the flash off after each use or it burns through the battery in one day. Attractive too!

Perfect holiday camera

Took it abroad for a trip around Asia. Perfect camera that fits various 35mm film. Photos are perfect- as in not perfect due to it being analog! Which is what I was looking for. Still sharp images with a lovely deeper feel than a digital camera.

Very expensive for the quality you received

So the quality of the camera is worse than a disposal one. After using disposable cameras for a while I decided to give it a go with this one because of the reviews. I went to a long trip and after I replaced the second film the camera is no longer working.... Once you receive the camera you will see how weak it is so it is a matter of a few use to stop working.

Bought for a friend and this loves it.

This product was beautifully presented and was perfect for a gift. I gave this to a friend for her big travel move and she loves using it.Bare in mind this is half frame so for newbies to the camera world research what this means.Would definitely buy another

Cheap Nasty Camera

It's a half-frame camera which means you save money on film, which is great. It sucks in every other metric though. Build quality is abysmal and flimsy. No better than a disposable.Design is uninspired and cheap looking. The quality of the photos is bad. This thing simply can not be used in low-light at all, not even with flash.Photos come out looking very grainy with 400 iso film. This thing is a toy, if you treat it like that, it's fun for a day. But as a camera it's just not very good. If you're looking to get into film photography I recommend buying a used point and shoot film camera off eBay. It'll be half the price and double the quality. While it's nice saving money on film, a better alternative is simply not shooting on film at all.

Lightweight, Compact and great value for money.

This is a surprisingly good value for money camera, which is lightweight, easy to use and great for making memories on trips! The instructions are provided by a QR code which opens a you tube video and shows you how to correctly install the film into the camera and prepare it for use.it requires one AAA battery for the flash, which has a nice easy toggle on/off switch on the front of the lens. The viewfinder is surprisingly clear given it's size, it's bright and functions as you would expect. It's quick to use, and fits into a small bag or jacket pocket. We use a slightly padded case for extra protection. But it does come with a sleeve and wrist strap. The build quality is where I personally feel it could be improved, the plastic body does feel rather fragile, but the colours it's offered in is fantastic. We took the green option and it's colour is true to the one advertised. The film can be purchased separately and is relatively cheap compared to buying disposable camera's.In short, this is a great trendy way to take film photos on a budget with little knowledge required.
