I have two12-yr-old rescue mixed breed terriers who were having trouble getting up and getting moving. These chews have eliminated those problems. I just drop one into their meal in the morning and evening, and they aren’t moving lime really old dogs anymore. Often they run and play lime puppies!

We love this and other products by Zesty Paws BECAUSE IT SAVED OUR DOG! Our Mischka, a rare breed Karelian Bear Dog developed a low hormone thyroid problem. By the time the vet got it under control her immune system was terribly out of whack. The vet was at a loss and didn't know what to do. He kept giving her lotions because she had lost almost all her hair and itched terribly all over. On a 60-pound dog a tube of lotion isn’t going to do much. She had scaly patches all over her that were red and inflamed and itching. She licked herself constantly to try and relieve the problem. Her skin was pink and smelled terrible. Her eyes had glazed over to the point that we thought she had cataracts and we thought we would have to put her down. She was miserable. and had a terrible life-threatening case of Candida. I figured this out by researching the internet. It happens when their digestive system and immune system is whacked out. We tried everything to help her. Finally, I found a sight that suggested a probiotic, turmeric, baths in anti-itch medicated shampoo and then rinsing with apple cider vinegar all over. After 6 months of trying everything and hundreds of dollars in vet bills we decided if this didn't work we would have to put her down. She had lost so much weight she was half her normal size and it was cruel to have her in such miserable shape. We had lost two others dogs in the last year to cancer and didn't want to lose another but we couldn't let her suffer much more. We began by giving her a bath every day and rinsing her in apple cider vinegar. She wasn't happy with us but we kept going. We changed her bedding every week. We should have changed it more but decided to wait and see if this would work. We would scrub her with a soft bath brush to make sure we got all the scales off each time in order to let her skin dry out and the vinegar get to it. We didn't have to worry about hair because it was almost all gone. We never rinsed the vinegar off nor did we dry her afterwards. We just let her run out in the yard to get dry. It was summer so that helped. After the 1st week she was looking better. The 2nd week she got even better. We were giving her the Zesty Paws Turmeric Curcumin Bites, Zesty Paws 5 in 1 Multi-vitamin Bites, Zesty Paws Calming Bites, Zesty Paws Mobility Bites and Zesty Paws Allergy Immune Supplement Bites. We were also giving her a separate probiotic for her digestive system, thyroid pills, Benadryl, and another chondroitin glucosamine pill so we had to buy the pill pockets or she would spit them out. Yes, it was expensive but cheaper than the vet bills. Besides, she is worth every penny. After two weeks we switched her to a bath every week and continued the medications and switching out her bedding. We were seeing a breakthrough. After 5 weeks her beautify black and white hair started growing back in and she was no longer pink all over and itching. She was still pink under her legs so we kept going. After 2 months all the pink was gone her skin was covered with hair and she no longer itched. Her eyes were clear and she began acting like she did when she was 5 years old. She is great now. Her beautiful hair is once again thick, soft and shiny and she has gained back her weight. Oh, I forgot to tell you she is 14 ½ years old. THANK YOU ZESTY PAWS FOR GIVING US BACK OUR BABY!!!!

Update: she's been on these for a year and a half and they've changed her life. She no longer limps when she stands up, still gets on the couch and in the car without issue, goes on walks, etc. It's absolutely incredible how much they have helped her. Absolute game changer. A year ago, I was terrified that we were nearing having to say goodbye if she continued to decline at the rate she had. I've had so many large dogs and once their hips go, that's it. I'm so unbelievably thankful for the quality of life these have given my sweet girl ❤️ Original Post: I have 120 pound, 8.5 year old rescue Mastiff who has been really stiff and slowing down a lot recently. She's been on glucosamine for about 6 months now and I saw very little improvement. She's been sleeping on the ground (instead of the couch) could hardly get in the car at all (it used to be easy for her), and took her so long to get moving after she got up. She's been on these for 5 days and yesterday she got in the car no problem even AFTER she'd been on a walk, and she's been getting on and off the couch no problem. She's a bit stiff when she first gets up but MUCH better and this is only after 5 days! I cannot believe how well she's doing on these already, I thought it would take at least 2-3 weeks to see an improvement. Can't wait to see how it is in a few weeks when it's been in her system even longer! She loves them and has had no stomach upset, though it should be noted that she has a stomach of steel and will eat most things haha. Highly highly highly recommend. There's enough in here to last 31 days for her, and would last much longer for a normal sized dog.

My 13-year-old dog had been on another joint supplement that had stopped working for her. I did a lot of research and knew that I wanted a supplement that had glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, mussel, AND turmeric. This is the only one I found that had them all! I can’t say it’s been a miracle for us (she has advanced arthritis in one knee due to an old injury), but I can say it’s definitely helping more than our old supplement. She’s able to move faster and most days can navigate the stairs without assistance, which is exactly what we needed from a joint supplement. Bonus - these don’t have an awful smell like our last ones and she definitely prefers the flavor. She’s a pucky eater, but she gets so excited to gobble this up, she gobbles her pain med right along with it without even realizing it! Definitely will buy again and again.

Forrest, our senior lab mix dog blew out her knees when she was 2 years old. She adjusted to that. As she has aged her body has added to her issues with hip problems and arthritis problems. Forrest has been on an anti-inflammatory for some time. When she first went on the anti-inflammatory medication it really helped her. On her last visit to the vet to assess her liver functions before I could get her prescription renewed, the vet noticed Forrest could barely move around and that walking was difficult for her. So the vet added a pain medication to the anti-inflammatory. Sadly, Forrest seemed to get worse after that. She could barely move and when she did move she would immediately plop down hard as soon as she could when she got to wherever she needed to go. My wife and I were starting to think about if it was time to put her down. Not just a hard decision as these kind always are, but extra hard with Forrest because hips forward she is great. Alert, interactive and a loving dog. But from her hips back. really bad. I shared this with my brother and he told me about a canine supplement they give their older dog that seemed to really help. So we tried it. Forrest is like a different dog. It has taken a month or so, but she no longer limps and she is up and walking a lot more. I used to have to find where she had plopped down to give her the medication. Now, just recently, I turned around from having gotten her nightly dose from the bottles to find her standing next to me in the kitchen wagging her tail excited to get her nightly treats. I am even thinking about backing her off the pain meds, or at least cutting it down some, to see how she does. These medications are not without side effects, thus the blood work to check her liver. I have been amazed at how well this supplement works. If you have an old dog with arthritis kinds of issues, you might want to try this for your dog too.

A woman who specializes in Chinese medicine recommended these. To try and make a long story short, my soon to be 13 year old Belgian malinois suffers from Invertebrate disc disease (IVDD). He’s at the point in his life where we are trying to keep him comfortable for whatever time he has left. Hes still happy and gets excited with things. However, hes in three different pain meds but I kept feeling like we could do better. So my vet sent us to a acupuncturist who does acupuncture on dogs. The jury is still out on if that helps. We only got two sessions in before COVID-19 forced her to shut down temporarily. He has not had acupuncture for about a month now and he’s doing better then he was before he started seeing her. Before, we had a sling around his waist to help him move around. Now we only need the sling to keep him from slipping on slick floors or the occasional help up. Otherwise he can wander around the yard. He still wobbly but he doesn’t fall down all the time. We are able to take walks around our property and that’s helped him too. He’s also able to poop and owe without the sling. Overall, much much better. I don’t think it’s good enough to take him off the pain meds. He is almost 13 years old after all. This is a nice supplement to the meds and will just keep him comfortable for longer. I didn’t want to ask to add another pain meds to his regime, so I’m grateful this works.

My Rottweiler, Bruce, is coming up on 10 years. His breeds average lifespan is 10 years. He has been getting a little achey over the past couple of years, but recently, he was running around and we think he pulled something in his back leg. He was laying around all the time and whenever he did get up, he was not putting any weight on his back leg. I was really worried that this was going to cause him to go downhill. He has so much life left in him, his body just isn't keeping up. We got these treats yesterday and started giving him 3 a day. He doesn't really like them, but he's picky about treats anyway. We just wrap them in a piece of bacon and he eats them. After 3 pills last night and one this morning, he walked around for 10 minutes outside and even started putting a little weight on his back leg. I know that it's still early to tell, but that's more progress than we've seen in the last 3 days. I will update after 2 weeks has passed and it's in his system really well, but so far I'm really impressed with this. I've tried all the joint supplements and pills and treatments and nothing else has worked. I would say this one is definitely worth a try. UPDATE: It turns out that he has a torn ACL, so these pills wouldn't help with that. But I will say that they have made it much easier for him to get up and down even without the use of that back leg. And the anti-inflammatory properties that these supplements have are helping to aid in his recovery. Our vet said these are very good for him so we will continue to use them.

I am definitely not one to complain about a company or their products...however, since this has happened to 2 of my dogs, which are two different breeds, I am here making this review. At first these worked fantastically for my Miniature Australian Shepherd...but it instantly made my moms Beagle sick...so we took the Beagle off of them because we figured it was just how he was reacting to it...like with people, one can react one way to a med and the other can react a completely different way... After giving my Mini Aussie these Mobility Bites for about a few months, his health started getting worse...He started vomiting uncontrollably and having uncontrollable bloody Diarrhea! Before anyone asks, yes I did take him to the vet and had tests run...I changed his food...AND took him off the supplements just in case...we recently got the okay from our vet to put him back on the supplements, and not even 72 hours later he was vomiting and had bloody diarrhea again. This is a dog who was always happy go lucky, always ready to play, and always waiting for his next snack...Now he is depressed, he never wants to play anymore, and he won't eat.... I started getting these because it was recommended to us and they had great reviews....but after seeing two of our dogs, and talking to other people about how their dogs got really sick after taking these...I will not be buying or using any of their mobility bites. Normally I can just throw the product away and not give a rats behind, but since it has made my pups very sick, I am honestly quite mad and disappointed...I would give this -10 stars if I could.
