Mimaki / Roland Universal Chip Charger Kit

Q: can you program an used chip?

You can program a used chip only if you're programming it for Roland. The situation with Mimaki is different. Mimaki printers keep track of the serial numbers of all the chips that were ever inserted into them. If you reset a used chip, the printer will reject it. That's why you should always program new blank chips for Mimaki. If you have a chip that was already programmed for Mimaki but was never used, then you can reset it.

No it doesn't. It supports only the older types of Mimaki chips.

Q: Does it work for mimaki 2liter bag bs4?

It doesn't work for BS4 ink type, but it can do BS2 and BS3, with the max ink amount 600ml per chip.
