Sam Cooke's Sar Records Story - 2 Pack Jewel Case

There are not very many times that you will be unsatisfied with a purchase of a Sam Cooke CD. His Gospel Music was as good as his pop music!! I have probably bought this CD 6 or 7 Times. It always seems to grow legs and want to go stay with some of my family or friends!!

Wow what an amazing cd, Sam cooke invented soul & if this doesn't make you have a better day then you have some serious issues, amazing food for your soul cd, while your at it buy you some of Sam's other releases he will get you through anything life throws at you, amen miss you sam

There were only two songs by Sam Cooke that I liked, the rest were by the Soul Stirrers. Some of the songs were mixed up.

Good. Great singer he was. This set displays groups and singers that Sam Cook helped recording and producing.

I love this album. While the songs are all amazing, the best part for me is listening to Sam Cooke talk and rehearse. This is priceless. I highly recommend it to all.

Great stuff. Would like to have heard more of the lesser known artists. But still a great package.

What a wonderful album this is. Sam Cooke was such a wonderful anointed singer and I love to hear him singer everyday. These CD's are great and actually show how talented and intelligent Sam Cooke really was.

Brilliant overview of the great transition from Gospel to Soul in the 50s/60s.Great voices-Sam Cooke-Johnnie Taylor-Sims Twins etc, not in any way sounding dated.Very little that could be regarded as filler.Essential.
